It is an amazing place with an interesting way of eating Banh Mi. It is separately served as bread and a bowl of beef with herbs, not your typical stuffed bread banh mi, very interesting. Pleasant spot to drop into when you got the munchies. Portions and table setting enables a quick bite and dash, to easily fit a busy itinerary / schedule. Not for lounging. Food isn’t one of a kind, but it’s rich and delicious. English menus are available but servers are across the street, so it can be a nuisance to some, and can feel tight when it’s really packed. Delicious sốt vang - you can’t miss this when in Hanoi! This was our first meal after our flight and it was the perfect comforting meal. Service is quick and efficient. After you are done, you take your receipt to the front of the store where you can pay the lady.

We also had the plate of fried eggs, cold cuts and pate, and (on our second visit) the bít tết, but the sốt vang is really what you should come here for.
