Fantome Wine Bar & Cocktails — Restaurant in Barwon South West

This place is relatively new so maybe they are still experiencing some teething issues. Cocktails were nice, well presented and reasonably priced. Desserts were ok but not really true to their description. Menue says "ask about our steaks" but wait staff didn't know what sides they came with or what price they were. Steaks were terrible. So thinly cut with no sear at all served with cold potato puree, no steak knife and served on a dysfunctionaly designed plate that flipped up every time you tried to cut anything. Visual ambience was lovely but people constantly opening the front door which is right next to tables to go out and smoke was annoying. An absolute joy of a dining experience and a very accommodating and welcoming atmosphere to adjust to vegan and gluten-free needs!!!

I've been told to book well ahead of time so they can provide me more options:) would highly recommend those seeking a great dine in experience to do so
