Today I was lucky enough to be served by the most wonderful young lady at Betty’s Burgers — a radiant girl with gorgeous curly blonde hair. I think her name was Charlotte? Either way, her service was absolutely beyond words. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. My kids had a blast, and the food was amazing — honestly, one of the loveliest dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

I was at Milton train station, on the phone and distracted, when disaster struck — my baby's pram started rolling away. At first, I didn’t notice. When I did, my heart dropped — the pram was heading straight towards the tracks, and a train was approaching.

I have terrible knees and recently had surgery, so sprinting after it was impossible. I tried — God knows I tried — but it was too far. For one horrifying moment, I thought I was going to lose my baby.

But then, like something out of a movie, I saw a blur of movement. A young woman on the opposite platform leapt over the fence, raced across the tracks, and threw herself toward the pram, pushing it back just seconds — milliseconds — before the train thundered past. She scrambled up onto the platform, barely escaping death herself. I collapsed into tears, shaking and overwhelmed...
