For one, I am a person who checks the menu and prices before going out to a restaurant, before going to gong cha I calculated the prices of all the drinks I would be purchasing and bought a sufficient amount of money for those drinks (with maybe an extra 2 dollars just in case). When I arrived I realised not only were some of the drinks online not on thé menu but the prices were very different, too make it worse the worker at the front was waiting impatiently for me to decide my order which already made me anxious. As I was ordering the worker would speak to me in rude tone and would constantly roll her eyes when she couldn’t catch what I was saying instead of politely asking me to repeat myself, I found myslef very anxious as I was making my order and extremely judged by her. Although this place will always have some of my favourite drinks I don’t feel very comfortable coming here now because of this experience as I would rather purchase food from places which have a friendly work...
Read moreI did mobile order. Didn't get my drink for 15mins and I noticed they are making drinks for customers who came after me. When I came up there, they didn't even start to make my drinks and said there is no black pearl when I literally saw them making other customers' drinks with black pearls who came way later than me.
It seems very clear they forgot my mobile order. I wanted to get refund but they refused, so I said can you make it with Lychee pearls? They made it with white pearls.. can't believe mistake after more mistakes?
Plus they didn't say "sorry" at all. Great service. Emailed them with details to tell the owner what happened.
They pretend to fix problem, but I guess they don't really care. Won't be back to this location....
