Grill'd Burgers - South Bank — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Went in was all good and well until my partner and I had to leave our table and line up to order. I specifically told the greater at the front that our table was still reserved as we were ordering. Little did we know that we'd walk out to our table being moved and cleaned to be used for a bigger family to create a larger table. I immediately tell the worker that that was our table. He then told us to go sit at the other higher tables that we didn't want to sit at when we originally chose our seating. He then said that we needed to calm down and that he'd find US a new table and let the others sit down at our table! This worker also knew the table was reserved as it has a STICKER on the table. We should've been the priotity as we had already ordered and food was being prepared. Where was he going to seat us instead because the whole store was PACKED?How poorly organised this Grilld is. There was two female workers working the front desk tonight around 10pm. The first girl that served me was making it extremely difficult to make my order by purposely making me repeat myself when i was talking at a reasonable volume. And then she tries to force me to use my grill’d membership when i did not want to which I found very uncomfortable and weird. I then spoke to the other girl working to ask to cancel my order and request a refund because of such a terrible experience from the first girl. The girl then starts handing me cash as my refund when i had paid card and i was never made aware of this. She tries handing it to me and i rejected it and she said it’s a cash refund only and that she does not know how to do a card refund. In the end never got my food or my money back because the interaction from these two were so appalling I did not want to waste anymore time with them...

Burgers were good and at a fair price, but a bit less good than we expected considering the raving reviews.

We ordered the garden goodness and mushroom Parma, no fork is given even though the garden goodness is pretty high and doesn't fit into many mouths without spilling.

Garden goodness had good taste but lacked texture, a bit mushy. Mushroom Parma had a better Patty but was really only a patty and some sauce, no tomato or anything.

We also ordered zucchini and sweet potato fries. The zucchini was very fried with batter and tasted really yummy and crunchy with a dog interior. The sweet potato had no batter so it was not as crunchy, but it was probably healthier for your veins, a lot of salt though.

Overall we had a good burger experience, and I recommend the zucchini fries, but i wouldn't particularly recommend our burger choices, though there was nothing...
