I recently visited the place and ordered the Caesar salad. It's a very simple dish, but unfortunately, the lettuce was wilted and not fresh. I brought it to the staff’s attention, and they suggested taking it away. I requested a replacement, which was kindly provided. However, in both attempts, the croutons were not tasty—they tasted like stale, dry, old, chewy bread (not toasted). Good croutons should be made from fresh bread, toasted with seasoning, not leftover untoasted, dry bread ends. When I was paying at the counter, I was asked for feedback. I thanked the staff for replacing the meal and mentioned the stale croutons. The staff seemed puzzled by my comment and quickly became dismissive. I didn’t have time to discuss further, as I had to leave. Regarding the atmosphere, the delivery supply boxes sitting in the main dining area didn’t contribute to a pleasant environment. Additionally, the entire venue—tables, sofas, the space behind the sofas, the ceiling above the counter, and especially the child high chairs—requires a thorough cleaning. It was difficult to decide between 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 because most of the staff were kind and understanding. I’ve visited here before and had a more pleasant experience. Plus, all the issues mentioned above are easily fixable. I hope you appreciate the feedback.

I booked a table for five at 8:00 PM, and we arrived a little early at 7:45 PM. The restaurant was nearly empty, with just one other table occupied. Right away, we were told the fryer wasn’t working (which seemed odd), but we were happy to look at the rest of the menu. Then, when I ordered a margarita at 7:50 PM, I was told they weren’t making cocktails anymore—despite their listed closing time of 9:30 PM on Google. It became clear they just wanted to close early, which was disappointing. Instead of feeling welcome, we felt like an inconvenience. In the end, we left and went to the restaurant next door, where we had great food and cocktails without any issues. No wonder the place was empty—definitely not the kind of service that encourages customers to return.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It is easily wheelchair accessible and there was plenty of room for my manual chair. My meal (the bacon and eggs) was a little underwhelming and whilst I asked for the bacon to be a little bit crispy, unfortunately it wasn’t even close. Without avocado or butter on the bread, it was a little boring. My girlfriend had the zucchini and corn fritters and they were ok so perhaps I was just unlucky with my choice. Either way, reiterate any changes that you want to increase your chance of getting it. We also ordered a milkshake and had to ask whether it was still coming towards the end of the meal, but were told that it wasn’t on our order so we had to get it as a takeaway option. Overall it was a pretty average experience.

Total disappointment really. The main thing was that my 'grilled prawn salad' didn't contain grilled prawns - they were boiled. And for $35 there were only four of them. When I read 'grilled prawn...' I expected for the prawns to be freshly grilled too, but they were the coldest part of the salad. I later checked, and the last couple of words in the description are 'served cold', but I can't help but feel somewhat duped. Despite this pretty major disappointment, the flavours were decent.

For a restaurant in that area, and for that price, I would've expected table service too, but I had to order at the counter, grab my own bottle of water, and take a glass off another table. The waitress ended up being pleasant enough, but initially she seemed put-out by my being there; not really the welcome I'd expect for that price either.

There was then an unexpected Sunday surcharge. When I asked the waitress where the indication of that was, she was at a loss to show me. I'm not sure of the legality of that, but perhaps it's bone-fide. In any case, it left me feeling again misled.

In summary, $55 for a stingy meal which didn't deliver on promises (boiled prawns, not grilled), inattentive waitstaff, and unexpected costs. I'm not...

Was looking forward to this breakkie seeing as they had df options and vegan. Their online booking was really great and seems like they cared to cater for everyone’s needs and allergies which was important to me and my Bub with a dairy allergy. I asked the waiter what coconut yoghurt they used and she got annoyed that she had to check. I asked her for a few more minutes to order and she just didn’t come back and ignored us the remainder of the time we were there. It’s a shame that their coffee tastes so good but the girl who was making it had no idea how to make a hot coffee. We asked for extra hot and it came out Luke warm. We asked for another coffee and it was exactly the same! What a joke! At that point I was just ready to leave. Then the food came out. The gnocchi was good but seriously the kiddies portions for yogurt and fruits was ridiculous $10 for a small bowl of fruit and 2 spoons of yogurt. It could have been so much better we just felt uncomfortable after that waiter ignored us for caring about what we feed our child who has allergies....
