Felt like breakfast with a beach view today, so made my way down to @ya3ani_ in Surfers Paradise! 🏖️
We ordered the Labneh and veggies, Half Meat/Half Cheese, Sujuk and veggies and the Falafel platter for one! 🤤
I have to commend this place on their food, I was actually blown away, every single ingredient was delicious! 🥹
The dough was thin but incredibly soft, the cheese was varied in their mix, the sujuk blew us away with flavour, the meat was spiced perfectly with a hint of chilli, the labneh was fresh and stacked with crunchy veggies, and last but not least their falafel... 🧆
Ohhh! It needs a whole paragraph on its own, golden, crispy outside, light and fluffy ok the inside, cooked thoroughly matched with a delicious hummus and sour tabouli...absolutely mind blowing...🤯
For a cafe, this place really has everything going for it, you can tell the owners put their heart and soul into their menu/product and it is paying off in their final product...♥️
Would definitely be paying a visit here every time I come down to the coast! 💯
Give it a go and thank...
Read moreIt’s advisable to call ahead before visiting, as we found out the hard way that the oven wasn’t working, which meant we couldn’t order any type of Manoush. This was quite disappointing, as it was one of the main reasons for our visit.
Additionally, we found the prices to be on the higher side, particularly for something as simple as falafel. It didn’t quite feel like we were getting value for money.
We also ordered Iraqi bread, which we were looking forward to trying, but sadly it ended up being wasted because it didn’t meet our expectations.
Overall, the experience fell short of what we were hoping for, and we left feeling underwhelmed. Unfortunately, it’s not a place we’d be rushing in again...
Read moreFound this place in surfers too late on our holiday. The best Manoush place in the Goldie. Had the Zaatar with cheese. Note:They use Mozzarella instead of Halloumi for the cheese. But they have good reason for this. Not having that many orders for the cheese on the Manoush makes it difficult to keep Halloumi fresh and in stock. So I completely understand. The Zaatar with cheese still rocked though! The Lahme pizza was really good and stood up to some that you would get in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Highly recommend this place for a visit. Tasty breakfast and the beach is but 30 seconds walk away. Keep up the good...
