I called to order food at 7:21 PM and was told it would take 10-15 minutes. However, when I arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 PM, my order still wasnât ready. I stood by the counter next to a few people picking up Uber Eats orders. I informed the staff that I had called ahead and made the order at 7:21pm. The man at the counter in the white suit went inside and returned saying it would be ready in 2 minutes.
After waiting 15 minutes, I approached the counter again, but staff members were walking around, ignoring everyone waiting. After more back-and-forth, the man in the white suit mistakenly asked to see my Uber eats order, confusing it with an my order with an Uber Eats request. Once I explained that I had ordered 55 minutes ago over the phone, AGAIN, he went to the POS to search for my order, printed it out to and said he would NOW send it to the kitchen, and said it would take another 15-20 minutes.A few moments later, a woman with glasses went to the kitchen and came back, repeating the same 2-minute promise.
At 8:15 PM, the supposed manager came over and said the only thing they were waiting on was the bread, and it would be no more than 6 minutes. However, by 8:30 PM, we were still waiting, and we finally gave up and left. When I asked, they claimed it was a super busy night, but there were only about 5 tables being served at the time. To add to this, this is the sixth time weâve experienced similar issues, even on nights when the restaurant has been completely empty.
The issue isnât just about a long waitâitâs the complete lack of communication. If they had told us it would take over an hour and a half, we wouldâve been able to make an informed decision about whether to wait. Instead, we were told it would take 15 minutes at 7:21 PM, and by 8:35 PM, our order still wasnât ready. This is beyond ridiculous.
It's safe to say we will never return. To make matters worse, several Uber Eats drivers were also receiving their orders late and had to stand around for lengthy periods of time, further proving how disorganized the place is.
I wonât be recommending this restaurant to anyone. Absolutely the worst experience we've had.
Iâve attached photos of when the order was made however I do not have any other receipt as we ended up leaving after having waited over an...

Two Fat Indian Northbridge is hands down one of the finest Indian restaurants Iâve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment you arrive, youâre embraced by the warm, welcoming ambiance, a blend of modern style and traditional Indian charm.
The culinary experience is nothing short of spectacular. The menu offers a diverse range of dishes, each more tempting than the last. The butter chicken was silky, rich, and perfectly spiced, while the lamb vindaloo was bold, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The vegetarian dishes, like the dal makhani and aloo gobi, were equally impressive, showcasing vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients.
Their selection of freshly baked naan, especially the garlic and cheese naan, was the perfect complement to the aromatic curries. The biryani was fragrant and beautifully layered, each bite a symphony of spices. And letâs not forget the desserts â the gulab jamun and mango kulfi were the perfect sweet endings to an unforgettable meal.
The service was exceptional throughout. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. They were happy to guide us through the menu, recommending dishes and ensuring we had everything we needed.
What truly sets Two Fat Indian Northbridge apart is the perfect balance they strike between authenticity and innovation. Every dish stays true to its Indian roots while being presented with a modern flair. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and experience offered.
Whether youâre an Indian food enthusiast or a first-time diner exploring these bold flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. Itâs perfect for intimate dinners, family meals, or even larger gatherings.
Rating: âââââ An absolute gem in Northbridge â Iâll definitely be returning to explore more of their incredible menu! Highly...
Read moreNo one asked our preference for drinking water and we felt judged from the start. Basic courtesy should never be skipped in fine dining. The staff looked rushed and disinterested in taking our order. Good service is about making guests feel welcome, not like a burden. A staff member dropped cutlery on me while clearing plates, yet offered no apology or tissue. Accidents happen, but ignoring them is unacceptable. Fresh naan was served by stacking the basket on top of the one already on the table. Thatâs not fine dining, thatâs careless service. While I was eating, a staff member pushed my plate to squeeze in other dishes. Moving a guestâs plate mid-meal is simply disrespectful. No one checked in for water refills, tissues, or if the food was okay. Attention to detail is what separates great restaurants from forgettable ones.
Overall, the food alone cannot make up for the service we experienced. In fine dining, itâs not just about taste but about hospitality, professionalism, and respect for guests. Sadly, this place fell short on all counts. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as small changes in service could make a huge difference â but for us, itâs a...
