The family that run this cafe are all about protection and isn’t that what the Germans are all about? They make their own fresh fruit juice daily. They seem to have a combination of fruits, vegetables and ginger. I had a beetroot and something wth ginger. It was very refreshing, just the kick I was after in the middle of the day. I had the currywurst for lunch. It was cooked to protection. The outside was slightly crispy, I personally could have had it crispier but that’s my preference. Inside the meat was juicy and tender. The tomatoes type gravy over it complemented the sausages flavours. Again a personal preference I could have had it spicer. It came with a delicious little pretzel bun to mop all the gravy up with. Highly recommend this little place. You will not be disappointed!!

My mind is blown that such an authentic and delicious experience of German cuisine could come out of this tiny kitchen in a very cosy corner in Perth CBD 🤯 The bratwurst was seasoned and grilled just right, the saurkraut was tangy and the pretzel was perfect parts chewy and crisp. There are only 8 seats inside with 4 more outside, with the space decorated as if we've stepped into Germany...very charming! And charming is how I would describe the Chef/Owner who clearly knows his food. What a pro to be able to produce such masterpiece from that tiny kitchen. An easy-to-miss spot, and this is now bookmarked! Located inside Equus Arcade with entrance in btwn Jaffle Shack and 1/2 Moment cafe.

A very small amazing german coffee shop hidden in the city center. I got a take out coffee and bratwurst. The bratwurst was an A+++++ 🤭 and the smashed potato was soooo yummy, im not sure if its bec i had not eaten any of it the recent years or its reallly yummy, like its fresh or soemthing😍😍😍 the kind of made everyday, i guess (i grew up in a vegetable farm, so) and not the one stored for days, 😉 I love Bratwurst, I have never loved any sausage before until a friend introduced this back when i was in china! It was nearly closing time when I got to the cafe, but the owner was still kind enough to make my order☺️ I will be back for the other desserts!🤭

Unique place. Firstly, it's tiny. Two 2-person tables, and one table that fits 3 comfortably or 4 if you don't mind being cozy. So reserve a table if you want a guaranteed seat. The food - we couldn't fault it. Perfect schnitzel, tasty currywurst, mashed potato was so good, I even enjoyed the sauerkraut (it's not usually my thing), and the fresh warm roll was ideal for mopping up the extra curry sauce. Good coffee too. Great service and general banter was the icing on the cake, which is good because we were both too full to try the actual dessert. Hopefully next time. Surprisingly varied menu for a tiny place. Give this place a try - I reckon it's a gem. || Notes from our return visit: glad we had room this time for dessert because the apple slice was so good, and secondly, the 'Farmers Lunch' (I think that's what it was called) was a revelation. Fleischsalat (sausage salad) is deee-licious. Finally, if you aren't sure about German food in general, Jochen - the owner - is very willing to guide you through the menu options. He's...
