We ate here yesterday and unfortunately, I must advise against visiting this establishment, especially for their BBQ offerings.
The overall experience left much to be desired, primarily due to the poorly organized service.
To begin with, we had made a reservation for 20:00, but we weren't seated until 20:25. What was frustrating about this delay was that there were clearly empty tables available during this time (reserved). It appeared that the restaurant staff were hesitant to seat two people at a table meant for four, even though all other tables were occupied and we made a reservation. It was only after waiting 25 min that we were finally seated at the free tables of four.
The disappointments continued as we were handed some very flimsy, makeshift menus, which were essentially printouts held together by a cord. This presentation felt cheap and didn't set a positive tone for the meal.
We decided to order some fried chicken, which, to their credit, was quite good, and a lychee sojito, which was also enjoyable. However, our order for a lychee sojito with alcohol was served as an alcohol-free version, which was a letdown.
What truly marred our experience was the haphazard service. We received our chicken and the BBQ menu for two people before our drinks and banchan (side dishes).
It took multiple attempts to get the server's attention to finally receive our drinks, which other tables seemed to receive promptly.
We also had to continuously request assistance from the server to set up the grill, provide scissors, and offer a BBQ tong which were present at only some of the tables.Even when the server did assist, they set the table bbq in a way that caused our paper to burn twice. Eventually, we had to figure it out ourselves and correct the setting.
It would have been helpful if the restaurant provided a manual for guests if they were not going to do it themselves.
We opted for the two-person BBQ menu at €29 per person, only to be met with disappointment as the meat was unseasoned and lacked proper marination. We had to rely on salt and pepper to salvage the flavor, even using leftover marinade from the chicken to improve the taste.
The banchan, or side dishes, were underwhelming, falling somewhere in the middle of not bad but not particularly good either.
I've dined at some Korean BBQ restaurants in the past, and this experience fell short of my expectations.
Overall, it's evident that this restaurant takes on more patrons than they can handle, resulting in a poorly managed service.
As someone with years of experience in the service industry, I found the service here to be subpar.
In conclusion, I regret to say that I have yet to find a satisfactory Korean BBQ restaurant in Brussels. If you're looking for Korean cuisine, I would recommend exploring other options. Even though Iteawon isn't the best, it offers better service and in some cases a more flavorful experience. This restaurant simply didn't live up to expectations, and there's room for significant improvement in their service and...

I recently visited this Korean BBQ restaurant, and I was absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of delicious aromas that made us hungry right away.
🥩 The meat was top-notch — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. We tried a variety of cuts including beef bulgogi, pork belly, and marinated chicken. Grilling the meat right at the table added a fun, interactive element that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
🥬 The side dishes (banchan) were plentiful and delicious. From spicy kimchi and pickled radish to soy-marinated bean sprouts and sweet potatoes — each one was perfectly seasoned and complemented the grilled meats beautifully.
🍚 Wrapping the meat in fresh lettuce with rice, garlic, and a bit of ssamjang sauce is a must — such a satisfying bite every time. We also tried the kimchi stew and a bottle of chilled makgeolli (Korean rice wine), which paired perfectly with the meal.
👨🍳 The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and helpful. The staff explained the menu, assisted with the grill, and made sure everything was just right throughout the evening.
🎉 Whether you’re looking for a fun dinner with friends, a unique date night, or just want to enjoy amazing Korean food, this place is a gem. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly...
Read moreWe arrived at 19.10 for a 19.00 reservation and were told our table would be ready in 5-10 min. There is no waiting area, which is uncomfortable for the seated guests, the waiters and the guests in line (yes, there is a LINE for RESERVED tables, where you’re pushed from behind by new people arriving and from side to side by the waiters passing by). The service looked chaotic, the air extraction was working poorly so the place was quite hot and smelly. By the end of the 10 min waiting time we were told to wait another 5-10 min - clearly, this kind of “welcome” did not deserve our time and money. We informed the host that we will pass our place in line to the next person. The host became almost aggressive, accusing us of being 15 minutes late and saying that we need to arrive on time in order not to lose the table. It is great that the host remembers the exact arrival time of each guest and thrives in a side mission of giving unwanted lessons, the next thing to learn would be basic hospitality and good manners, and maybe one of Belgium’s...
