This is my first time to give my negative review on Tim Horton's service and my first time to buy my coffee on this location (today), located at 3rd Level North Campus - BVC, this staff is so rude, a she, who wears a covering on her head. I ordered medium Dark Roast coffee with 1/2 french vanilla around 9:27 am during our class break time, tasted the coffee and can't taste the FV, I was disappointed, I know the standard taste of it because I previously worked as a team member of Tim Hortons, and I used to make, serve, as well as buy and drink that coffee. So, I didn't drink that coffee and returned it after the class at around 10:35 am for them to change it, for them to know. I went there and told her "sorry, can I return this for replacement because I can't taste the FV in my coffee, I ordered 1/2 FV with Dark Roast".This rude tim staff lady just responded in an insulting way, "did you buy this here?", took the new cup, then while preparing it, saying okay this is how the coffee is prepared, look I will put the french vanilla, press this one pointing on the machine, there is an indication that it has 1/2 french vanilla and I will put dark roast coffee, okay? Her voice is with anger and sarcasm, the other customer whose in line was hearing it, I was more disappointed on her attitude, I calmed myself and just say "okay, staring at her", I don't want to make a commotion on her rudeness, I just brush it off, received the second coffee, did say "thank you" still to her. She said to the first coffee served, "take this away because that is not needed". Wow, really huh, "Attitude"🤨. Disappointedly, the coffee still is not quite good as well(the aroma taste of the coffee and the mixture of FV-bland) its not the real standard taste that I used to. So I don't know if their machine is calibrated in the correct measurement. Miss, instead of apologizing and taking the situation in a respectful way towards your customer, your rude, please do correct yourself, you are in a customer service industry, don't put your company down because of your attitude. And report the incident to your supervisor/manager for them to act if there's a need to check your equipment and measuring. Always take note: good...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst food ordering experience I've come across. Food hygiene seems to only be something that is checked off for the sake of doing business, and is clearly not something that is prioritized as part of their daily work. Clearly the staff members know nothing about due diligence and quality.
I made a normal standard coffee order, only to discover human hair in my cup after I opened the lid to drink it more comfortably. A reasonable thing to do is to compensate their paying customer, which they did - but of course, the second cup of coffee also has human hair right inside, for me to drink simply because they can. Is it actually unreasonable to expect the compensated cup of coffee to be free of defects, which includes human hair? The answer seems to be no - human hair should be expected in every cup of coffee we order. :)
Needless to say, I have not been compensated whatsoever besides wasted time and complete disgust for what was once a traditional and comfortable morning double double coffee. I now pay $4 for a small coffee from another shop because I can depend on quality and not have to worry about swallowing grease hair of complete strangers.
After submitting an inquiry to the standard customer support team, I was told that I can expect fair compensation and for the "owner" to contact me with an update. No update whatsoever, which was what I had expected all along - clearly the proper handling of food, adequate training, upholding corporate reputation, wanting to learn from mistakes, and being a reasonable business owner is non-existent for this franchise location and it is such a shame that a trustworthy Canadian (now American owned) franchise chain does nothing but offer such horrendous and repeated customer experiences.
There have been other times this location ran out of cream for the coffee, and various other problems that shouldn't even exist for a fundamental coffee shop.
The line ups are always long, and food orders take unnecessarily long to prepare. The staff cannot comprehend simple questions like "may I have a sleeve for my coffee please?".
This store is a wonderful example and can contribute to standard operating procedures of how NOT to operate a...
Read moreSo, I get out of class and went to this Timmies to grab something to eat because I hadn't are all day. Ordered a wrap, side and iced capp. So here's a few things:
The counter staff who greeted me, they was approachable and they definitely had my attention especially if people are on their phones →great job. They were confused for a second on my order on the wrap and they had eventually found it, and when I ordered my side they went to go grab it which is → awesome and fantastic.
The next employee who made my drink had other drinks in their hand and managed to make it correctly. A little shocker since they just handed me an Iced Capp and expected me know that this is the one, and when I asked, they nodded that it is the correct order in a neutral expression which is fine, since it is past 5pm. Good job on handling the other drinks as well.
The employee #3 who made my wrap was just standing around and messing around with their sauces and backups which were alittle confusing for me because it is 40seconds later that I see my wrap not yet wrapped and onto the grill → definitely concerning. Then when I watched them put it onto the grill, they just left it beeping for the next 30-45 seconds until a 4th employee came and cancelled the beeping but still hadn't taken out the wrap and just left it on the grill for next 30 seconds; next thing you know the 3rd employee grab the wrap from the grill and places it onto the wrap and gives it to me with the proper order. Semi-satisfactory job on employee #3 for making the wrap but I disliked the way they left it in the grill for almost more than a minute.
TL;DR - order taker (5/5), drink maker (4/5), wrap...
