In my opinion, this is the highly overrated restaurant in Niagara. I would recommend visiting the "Table Rock House Restaurant" situated atop the iconic table top location instead.
Here's why:
When comparing the prices, we found that we paid around $125 for a meal for two adults and two children at iHop. However, at Table Rock House Restaurant, we paid a similar amount and received a significantly better experience in terms of the view, service, and food quality.
At iHop, we ordered two kids' meals which were supposed to come with drinks included. However, they removed the drinks and charged us separately for two additional drinks. This kind of discrepancy would not occur at Table Rock House Restaurant, where you can expect fair and transparent pricing.
The view at iHop did not live up to the hype. On the other hand, Table Rock House Restaurant offers an unparalleled view from the top of Niagara Falls, providing a truly awe-inspiring experience.
We encountered arrogant staff at iHop, which affected our overall impression of the restaurant. In contrast, the staff at Table Rock House Restaurant were lovely, well-behaved, and contributed to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Based on these factors, I believe that Table Rock House Restaurant is a superior choice, offering a more enjoyable dining experience with breathtaking views, attentive service, and...
Read moreDuring my stay at the Ramada Hotel in Niagara Falls, I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the IHOP located right in the lobby at 6045 Stanley Avenue. It was a convenient option for starting the day, as they open early at 7 AM, offering a variety of breakfast favorites. The menu was extensive, with options ranging from classic breakfast combos and omelettes to sweet and savory crepes, French toast, waffles, and even a 55+ menu. They also serve lunch items, available until their closing time at 1 PM.
The restaurant itself was spacious and impeccably clean, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy my meal. The service stood out as well—friendly and attentive, making me feel well taken care of from the moment I arrived. For my breakfast, I chose the Double Blueberry, which consisted of four fluffy blueberry pancakes topped with a generous blueberry compote. Paired with a large kettle of rich, aromatic coffee, it was a satisfying and delicious start to my morning.
While the pricing reflects the convenience of dining within the hotel, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worthwhile. Having such a reliable breakfast option right on-site made my stay at the Ramada even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty meal to kick off their day in...
Read moreSitting down, I unfortunately discovered what looked like the remains of a pancake underneath the table when I stepped in it. It then took longer for someone to actually stop and even get us drinks or take our order. We had who I assume was the manager stop by our table to say someone would be 'right with us'. Almost 10 minutes after that we finally were able to give our orders to the waitress. Upon receiving our food, (which was mixed up, I had my fiances eggs and bacon and he had my eggs and hash browns) tasting it was yet another disappointment. Fiance said verbatim that his bacon was the worst bacon he ever tasted and my hash browns weren't cooked all the way through. Waited some more for the rest of my breakfast to arrive, to be given the smallest plate possible for the pancake size. While eating my savory food, the whipped cream slid onto the table and we had to fight for someone's attention to get a larger plate and to clean up the slowly melting whipped cream. Nope. Waitress took the smaller plate and came back with a larger one and set it IN the whipped cream now smeared on the table.
Overall not a good experience and we definitely won't be going to a Canadian IHOP ever again as it was disappointment after...
