I wanted to like this place after reading about it and wanting to support local during covid. I love Korean food but I was really disappointed. Spent 70$ from an Uber order and all I can say is I couldn't finish more than a bite. I had the fried chicken, it was ok. Even paid extra for sauce and that didn't help. I found it mushy and bland. Don't know what everyone else is tasting but mine had no flavour. Only oily and mushy. The jajungmyeon was bland and had no flavour either. They noodles didn't mix well with the sauce and the sauce you can't even taste anything. The kalbi beef in the rice bowl was very tough and you can't chew it. I don't have any problems with chewing so I know the beef is old and not tender. Lastly the beef bimbimbap had almost no meat at all. It was all veggies. If I wanted only veggies I would have order that. Where's the meat? Just as I look for the meat it's so little and hidden under all the veggies that when I see it I can easily say one spoonful and it's done. I'm all about quality not quantity and this is very disappointing and I am not coming back. I rather go to Korean village for my legit food that has taste...

The Jjajangmyun (Pork in Black bean sauce) was served with the noodles separated from the sauce. The noodles were overcooked and under seasoned.. They cooked even more on transportation home and glued together in one big mass next to the sauce, which it wasn't mixed with. The sauce itself was one note savory. If they had added more pickled radish it might have been better. However the pork itself was also stringy, tough and dry, not that there was much of it. For $10 it's a large amount of noodles, but it's not fantastic.

The beef bulgogi was a little bit better because it had sweet, savory and acidic notes. It is served with a red rice so it has a very different taste than expected. there was still a very minimal amount of beef. There were just a few pickled radish and carrots so I wouldn't say that is "beef with vegetables," because it was just a garnish and the included fried item is a very tiny chicken dumpling that is overwhelmed by onion flavor.

Also, we had a 30 minute wait for just two dishes. And there's nowhere to sit and wait due to Quarantine....

Waited a half hour in the cold for my food. They marked my order as complete just so they fit in the time window for Uber, but I was left waiting outside for an order that wasn’t even ready. Not sure why I waited so long when the food I got was cold. Such a terrible experience ordering from this place. I am never coming back here.

I see the owner’s reply and came back to say that had there been more communication from the beginning, I would not have been so unhappy with the experience. We were told by the Uber app that the order was ready, which the restaurant knew as we had tried to pick the order up. Instead of giving an actual estimated wait time or even a real explanation we were given rushed apologies and were left waiting a total of an hour and a half from when we first ordered our food. Also, don’t take orders on Uber you can’t fulfill. I have never had such a bad experience with a restaurant where they didn’t even try to make things right. I stand by never returning here based on their lack of care for...

VERY good Korean takeout spot in the harbourfront area but doesn't quite stack up to some of the heavy hitters in North York or Korea Town. I ordered the japchae and I was prepared to take it out but surprisingly they had 3 bar stools available to sit on inside the restaurant. Also you get 10% off for paying with cash on orders >$15. One of the things that I loved was that the portion size was HUGE; enough for 2 people for sure. It also came with an array of veggies such as red bell peppers, green bell peppers, carrots, and onions. The main quips I had with the dish were that there wasn't as much beef as I'd like for the amount of noodles given and there wasn't enough sesame seeds either. It was lacking something that would make it top tier. But overall, because of the great value and wonderful service, I would still come back again and try their other offerings. Would recommend if you're in the area and craving Korean food!

First came here three years ago, right after we moved to Toronto, and this little Korean spot instantly felt like home. (Disclosure: we’re not Korean—but good East Asian food has a way of bridging that distance.) Our go-tos are the glass noodles, bibimbap, and fried rice cakes—each one authentic, flavorful, and comforting. The glass noodles are never soggy, always perfectly seasoned; the bibimbap is a wholesome mix of veggies, protein, and multigrain rice that leaves you feeling satisfied, not heavy. The space is tiny, with only 3–4 seats, so sometimes we dine in if luck’s on our side. Prices are fair (way better than your average food court meal), no tipping required, and the taste keeps us coming back.

I went here to grab dinner. It's a small restaurant with a few seats inside. It was quite hot upon entering. The shop keep was nice. I ordered the bibimbop with beef. The portion size is large and came with a free miso soup. I did order a side of kimchi however it seems the shopkeep forgot to include it when she handed me my takeout bag. The side of kimchi is $1.75. As I only found out after I got home, there was nothing I could do at that point. The quality of the food itself was good but I think for the price there may be better Korean eats more north in the city. If you are by the harbour and craving Korean, this restaurant has you covered. Rating is lower due to missing kimchi :(
