THIS IS PLACE IS AMAZING! WE CAME HERE FOR OUR TEAM HOLIDAY DINNER. THERE WAS JUST 4 OF US ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. SERVICE WAS AMAZING! OUR WAITRESS WAS SO FRIENDLY AND POLITE.
OVERALL FOOD 4/5 & GORGEOUS PRESENTATION.
FRIED CALAMARI 5/5 GOOD PORTION FOR THE PRICE AND THE DIPPING SAUCE WAS REALLY TASTY TOO.
KALE SALAD 4/5 THERE WAS A OLIVE TAPENADE THAT WAS REALLY GOOD WITH THE CHOPPED KALE, CUCUMBERS & CHERRY TOMATOES! A LITTLE MORE DRESSING WOULD BE NICE.
HOMEFRIES WITH SPICY MAYO 5/5 FRESH CRISPY FRIES, LIGHTLY SALTED, MAYO WITH A SLIGHT KICK.
GRILLED WHITE ASPARAGUS 4/5 VERY GOOD FLAVOURS BUT THE PORTION IS SLIGHTLY SMALL FOR THE PRICE. PARMIGIANO REGGIANO, A YELLOW BEET VINAIGRETTE AND CANDIED WALNUT PIECES. SO GOOD!
FETTUCCINE ALL’ASTICE [LOBSTER PASTA] 3/5 PASTA ITSELF WAS KIND OF RAW/VERY UNDERCOOKED. FLAVOURS WERE GOOD BUT IT WAS TOO DRY. NEEDS MORE SAUCE.
MAC & CHEESE 5/5 THIS IS ONE OF THEIR SIGNATURE DISHES I BELIEVE. THERE WAS A BIT OF A TRUFFLE PASTE ON TOP THAT YOU MIX ALL TOGETHER. IT WAS AMAZING! ALTHOUGH A BIT MORE SAUCE WOULD BE GREAT! THE MUSHROOMS WAS TOO GOOD! MMM! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DISH!
BURRATA PIZZA 5/5 THE DOUGH WAS AMAZING! GOOD CHEWINESS TO IT. GENEROUS PORTIONS OF BURRATA ON EACH SLICE [WHERE MOST PLACES ONLY PUT ONE CHUNK IN THE MIDDLE]. IF YOURE A PIZZA LOVER AND CHEESE LOVER, YOU HAVE TO...
Read moreGreat location accompanied by quick, attentive and courteous service. My cousin and I had lamb chops appetizer, tartare di salmone, spaghetti frutti di mare and buratta pizza. We really enjoyed our food which was delicious. One suggestion that I would have is to ask about temperature for lamb preparation since many people love it medium or medium rare. Lamb was juicy and tasty no question about it however personally I would like it done medium.
Ambiance is nice and relaxing, place is well organized and clean, easy access for wheelchair. There was some issue with light going brighter at times however they’re having that fixed.
I saw some reviews about this place in regards to pricing and I must say that many restaurants have to take into consideration supplies and utilities costs besides other factors when they come up with reasonable price for their product. Some stores in Toronto sell 3 small pieces of chicken for over $20 then how can places sell chicken dinner for anything under $30 or $40? It is logically impossible.
Living in Toronto with skyrocketing prices many people would consider Moretti restaurant for celebrations and special occasions. I had fenomenal dinner and I would recommend to anyone trying this place...
Read moreTried their iced crema a while back and started recently ordering it on Uber eats. Some days I would order the small size (10oz) and other days I’d order the medium (12oz). At one point I was ordering the medium daily but they starting giving the same cup as the 10oz although I was ordering the 12. I though maybe it was a mistake the first few times or they were maybe being nice giving me the 12 when I order a 10. This was until I noticed their price going up a ridiculous amount in store and on Uber eats and it seems like they exploited the product getting famous. Also recently the iced crema (which by the way is the only reason I even order from there) has been really awful tasting, it used to be good and deserved the hype but now they don’t make it well at all. There are other places in the city with more reasonable pricing that do it better and don’t exploit the fact that their customers enjoy their products. It’s a dishonest way to run your business. No coffee should ever cost 15 dollars and taste like crap. Will probably never order from there again and will tell my friends to stop as well :) support honest businesses instead ❤️oh and this is how the drink comes if you order it usually melted but I guess that’s Uber...
