Simply Delicious Natural and Gourmet Market — Restaurant in Vernon

I went to simply 2 weeks ago to cause I wanted to meet the new owner of simply delicious as well as grab some candies, vitamins and bulk. I’ve been a regular since Moving here spring 2017. I believe the owner's name was Arana or aryana well something along those lines. And what a shame it is to have to say she’s a C$&@ who desperately needs an attitude adjustment or at the very least a large glass of wine. The Cold condescending tone and the somewhat Evil glare in her eye makes me question how she’s capable of keeping a husband let alone a business. I was optimistic that the new owners would introduce new products and be jolly like the previous owners but some people are just bad at customer service and using tact but keeping with the theme of optimism I hope the next owners will be better because lord knows this woman is gonna lose her business. And maybe then the joyous laughs and smiles of the lovely employees will return but like those smiles I won’t be returning for a long time. Their only redeeming quality is their price of cheese, a tall Latin man who I’ve forgotten the name of but you can tell he has a kind soul that just radiates positivity, and the purchaser Aleia. The store was nice enough but the "Vitamin and supplement lady" was atrocious! I simply asked for the location of a certain supplement only to be bombarded by information that was not only inaccurate but her pushy methods were aimed to sell the highest price item. She gives unsolicited medical advice - She is NOT a doctor nor a naturopath - yet still feels that she can unsoundly advise people about what they should be taking instead of the medicine that they are prescribed by a certified doctor. She does not know what she is talking about but acts like she has a degree which is totally ignorant. Her tone is passive aggressive and condescending. When I said that I trusted my doctor she called me a guinea pig! She was not helpful...she was terrible. People in search of medicine often feel vulnerable and unwell, and she obviously feels that her position at that store is a platform for her exaggerated sense of self-entitlement. My partner couldn't stand to listen to her and had to walk away before I finally gave us and did the same. I will NOT be returning to this store because of...

I have been shopping at Simply for many years now. Previously, as a rep and education con sultant fone of Canada's larger ,upunctureosupplement anmanufacturers, a Dr of acupuncture and an instructure of European Lymphatic Massage, I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, and especially the owners, the Roland's. Being a clinical aromatherapist and Holistic cosmetologist, I can truthful say their essential oil line is beautiful! Their pricing is fair, they are in a convenient location as well as being a family owned business, which is the back bone of our natural health industry in Canada..(unlike the huge conglomerates that just purchased many of the other local chains, here in the Okanagan.) Why on earth would anybody shop anywhere else? Thank you Simply...
