I came here 3 weeks after they opened and not so long a queue anymore during lunch hrs. Wait is around 15-20mins total.
As TP tea and Ten Ren bubble tea stores are located nearby I will be doing a comparison between these 3 CWB stores. And I have not tried this store in Taiwan.
The price of milksha is similar to TP tea, slightly more expensive than Ten Ren at around 28-30hkd a drink. The actual drink is very similar to Ten Ren, their tea lattes are on the lighter side but have slightly more milk taste but imo less tea flavour. TP tea lattes have a more heavier and creamier texture.
The pearls here are white, which is nothing new since Tp tea down the road has been offering white healthy version pearls for a long time. The pearls are better than Ten Ren, as they are less sweet (ten ren's pearls are super sweet), and more chewier (ten ren's pearls more firmer in the middle). However, I prefer the pearls at Tp tea as they are smaller sized pearls and taste completely unsweetened whereas milksha's pearls are still a little bit sweet.
Is it worth the longer wait compared to ten Ren and milksha? Overall I would come back to milksha when I feel like a lighter and sweet bubble tea. Ten Ren will be my go to for the fastest service. And Tp tea for the other days when I want a fuller tasting and less sugary bubble tea :)
Stick to Ten Ren or tp tea if you prefer more tea flavour in your bubble tea, this place is called MILKsha and their drinks main...
Read moreOrdered their bubble milk tea, since I tried this in Taiwan and it was soooo good! However, I was a bit disappointed, the cup size is smaller and the taste was not as good as Taiwan's. I guess the milk that they used in Taiwan has a better taste? I like they use transparent/white bubbles instead those traditional brown sugar (black) bubbles. And my friend tried their orange juice and Jasmine tea, but she said she prefers TenRen's. Since it's newly opened, a lot of people go there, so the queue line is pretty long during weekends, if you want to try they taro milk tea (seems to be most popular among all other drinks), you should go before 4pm. And on the day I went, the building above the shop poured water down, so...
Read moreMy friend bought me to this bubble tea store on Lee Garden Road as she highly recommended their bubble tea. . I ordered the Mochi Milk, as my friend said their mochi was outstanding. I totally agree with her! Their handmade mochi, made using Hokkaido sweet glutinous rice, had a strong rice aroma and pleasant chewiness. It was very smooth and rich, which combined perfectly with their Greenfields milk.
My friend ordered the Strawberry Coulis Milk. Not sure abt the flavour as I didn't try it, but its pink appearance looked quite attractive. . The price of their drinks are reasonable, and the variety of drinks is...
