If you're seeking an authentic sukiyaki experience that will leave you craving more, look no further than this remarkable restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining there with a group of nine, and it was an unforgettable evening from start to finish.

As we made our reservation, we were informed that there were only two dinner slots available: 6:30pm or 8:30pm. We opted for the latter and arrived ten minutes early, eager to embark on our sukiyaki adventure. To our delight, we were promptly seated at the bar table, allowing us to have the entire area to ourselves—a truly intimate and immersive experience.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the sukiyaki itself. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. Each bite was a tantalizing journey of flavors, and the wagyu rib eye stole the spotlight for me. Its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and rich marbling were simply divine. But it wasn't just the quality of the ingredients that impressed me; it was the passion and precision with which the chefs prepared and presented each dish.

Speaking of the chefs, they deserve special recognition. Throughout the meal, they provided clear and informative introductions to every dish, sharing insights about the ingredients sourced directly from Japan. Their expertise and attention to detail added an extra layer of appreciation to the culinary experience.

Leaving the restaurant, my taste buds yearned for more, and I found myself eagerly anticipating my next visit. The sukiyaki experience at this establishment is truly exceptional, and I can't wait to indulge in the flavors and immerse myself in the ambiance once again.

If you're a fan of sukiyaki or simply looking for a dining experience that combines exquisite flavors, knowledgeable chefs, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant. Be prepared to be transported to the heart of Japan as you savor each bite and appreciate the artistry...

Sukiyaki Mori, located in Central, is an exceptional dining establishment that offers what can easily be described as the best sukiyaki experience in Hong Kong. While the dinner set may seem pricey at $730 per person, the quality and flavors you'll encounter make it well worth the investment.

From the moment you step into Sukiyaki Mori, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the traditional Japanese decor. The attentive and knowledgeable staff members ensure that your dining experience is seamless and enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the sukiyaki. Sukiyaki Mori takes this classic Japanese dish to new heights. The thinly sliced, high-quality beef is tender and melts in your mouth, perfectly complemented by the rich and savory sukiyaki broth. The ingredients, including fresh vegetables, tofu, and noodles, are of top-notch quality, adding depth and variety to each bite.

The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of sukiyaki at Sukiyaki Mori is truly commendable. The cooking process takes place right at your table, ensuring that the flavors and textures are preserved to perfection. The staff members skillfully guide you through the process, making sure you get the most out of every element of the meal.

While the dinner set at Sukiyaki Mori may appear expensive, it offers great value for the quality and experience it provides. Additionally, the portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave feeling completely satisfied.

In conclusion, if you're a fan of sukiyaki or simply looking to indulge in a memorable Japanese dining experience, Sukiyaki Mori in Central is the place to be. I can't believe that the probably trained staff from a well-known restaurant can provide terribly lousy service like this!

My friend scanned the health code there, showing no third vaccination, but actually, she did have that. We tried to contact the leave home safe, but no one answered. Finally, she found the digital record from the government website eve.gov.hk and asked the staff, a short hair man without glasses, to scan the code. That staff surprisingly asked her whose code it was. He unexpectedly doubted we forged a health code, like a knave who uses his own yardstick to measure the motive of an upright man. My friend was angry and showed him the name and HKID of the code impatiently, without any bad mouth. Luckily, that code worked, and we got seated. Then the guy came to us to take the order. I said sorry to him for being later than the scheduled time and for my friend’s impatience. A surprising thing happened! That staff, said in Cantonese, “sorry有大哂,我可以冚你一巴,跟著講sorry”, which means sorry doesn't mean anything, and he can slap me and say sorry to me. I couldn’t believe that a customer service staff could be this arrogant and overbearing. I said sorry to him, and he didn't accept my sincere apology and wanted to slap me. What terrible service!

We booked the lunch a month in advance and specially reserved dinner sets for enjoying the AKA the best sukiyaki in town thoroughly. My friend even brought him a newly bought Leica M10 with him. But it was all ruined by the rude staff. We regretted that we didn't ask for the name of that staff. But buddies, be careful of the short hair man without glasses working at sukiyaki Mori at 66 Hollywood road. He is so rude, unprofessional, and may have a propensity for violence.

There are many sukiyaki places in town and the others are way easier to book...

Few places in Hong Kong truly resembles the dining experiences in Japan. This is one of those few places.

🇯🇵🇭🇰 It’s no surprise why it’s one of the hardest sukiyaki spots to book in HK! From the moment I step into the restaurant, the warm ambiance and the tantalising aromas wafting through the air have transported me to Japan within 5 seconds. The food ingredients are of extreme high quality and fresh. You are served with several parts of wagyu from the set lunch. The thinly sliced beef is delicately cooked to perfection in the fragrant mixture of soy sauce, mirin and sugar. By dipping the tender beef to the smooth and creamy egg, it not only highlights the buttery flavour but also melted effortlessly on my tongue, it sure transcends the experience to another level. Don’t forget to save your appetite for their famous beef and egg rice. It’s cooked with the remaining wagyu juice, which the rice soaks up all the umami-rich, slightly sweet broth! It’s such a great experience overall, and I recommend it to all my friends who’re looking for a decent yet reasonably priced sukiyaki restaurant in HK!
