Veggie 4 Love is a hidden gem high up in one of Hong Kong’s many skyscrapers. Like many local businesses, it’s not at street level but rather tucked away, accessible only by elevator, which gives the place a futuristic, tucked-away feel.

This 100% vegan diner has a distinctive twist: it’s members-only, but new visitors can easily sign up upon arrival. Be prepared, though—it’s a popular spot, so getting a table without a reservation might mean waiting or even booking and coming back.

Inside, Veggie 4 Love is designed like a classic American roadside diner, a surprising choice that works wonderfully with its urban Hong Kong setting. This blend of retro diner vibes and modern skyscraper views feels quirky and memorable, giving you a sense that you’ve discovered something unique.

The food is excellent across the board, with the burgers as a highlight. They’re flavorful and satisfying, proving that vegan comfort food can be every bit as indulgent as its non-vegan counterpart. The creativity and attention to flavor in every dish make it clear that Veggie 4 Love is serious about its plant-based mission.

One important note: Veggie 4 Love is cash-only, so be sure to have cash on hand for your meal.

Overall, Veggie 4 Love combines quirky ambiance, delicious vegan food, and a unique dining setup in the heart of Hong Kong. If you’re vegan or just curious, it’s worth a visit for the great food and...

First of all it’s fully Vegan - Appreciate it so much I so happy not to worry about animal products being sneaked into my meal! The owner is also vegan so even better to dine in a true ethical right restaurant

Located on 10th floor and easy to find

The menu is a trip around the world and every dish I tried was made to perfection! I have been to all the places were the dishes originate from so know what they should taste like

Service is like in the states: very friendly and has an eye for details. Refilled infused water permanently They have a minimum spend and also add 10% service fyi

Here’s what I ordered: Chicken Made out banana blossom Is impressive The texture is intense and the flavour is light, but still to the point. There’s nothing about this dish I would change!

Peking wraps with duck Fully vegan crispy and I am sure anyone would love this! Served with Hoi sin sauce a trip to Bali I was missing Indonesian food so much. I have been a couple of times in Indonesia and love their cuisine. I am not good at cooking it, so like to eat Indonesian food whenever I can and it’s good! And this is so good 😊 A beautiful selection: Tofu, meat skewer (yuuum 😋 ), peanut sauce 🥜 Coconut over rice 🍚 could be more warm the coconut milk Banana 🍌 for me only decor 😂 Gado Gado salad 🥗

there’s not a thing to miss! Best dining...

RECOMMENDED: Vegetarians struggle to find fresh in HK and Veggie SF strives to provide in a unique and eclectic environment. The menu itself isn't wow but you go for the whole package of environment, who else is eating and the food.

Their mainstay is a beetroot burger with a handful of sides, all served Chili's Restaurant style. It's pricey and the portion size ensures you'll be able to finish it. Check out the their website veggiesf com to get a sense of the place. Tables are tight so plan on getting to know your neighbor. It's Buddhist run, so no alcohol.

Sadly, the place is popular and small, which means they take reservations and you might not get a table on walk-in. But it's central location and literally dozens of other nearby restaurants (check out Night Market in the same building, Vietnamese street food, 2 floors and always busy) make this a low risk choice.

Overall, it's cute, the food is decent, prices a little high and energy in the room good - so this a nice show place for...

I loved this place! All the food is vegan and it's delicious, and the interior is such a fun, eclectic look that it makes your dining experience spectacular. For lunch, they serve a free soup and drink with your meal. The soup of the day was Chinese watercress and it was really good. I had the BBQ burger with the soy patty. Their house-made BBQ was delightfully tangy and yummy. The dish came with a side of garlic roasted potatoes and it was so good I didn't miss that they weren't normal French fries. There was also a side salad that came with it and although it looked ordinary at first, their house-made salad dressing was amazing and unique. I couldn't get over the detail of all the American vintage collectibles they had. It was so much to look at! They also had animal rights petitions and info posted in the hallway heading to their bathroom which was nice to see. They are cash only so bring at least $200 per person, to be safe. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

Overall: I really enjoyed the experience at Veggie SF But saddened to hear they will close later this year (unless a new buyer takes over the business) Food:. Quality of food (Ranch 99 burger, salad and fries) was excellent and quite tasty. Definitely will return to eat some of the other selections Drink was nothing special, just a simple tea bag of different flavours. Service: Service was quick but not the most friendly Decor:. Had a very cool retro (50's) Americana feel. Seats were ok comfortable but tight. Value:. Considering everything was vegetarian, the price point was a big high (Lunch set was 174 inclusive of service fee). But if you consider the quality of the food, it is definitely worth a try. Note: On their menu it stated that they are looking for a buyer otherwise they may close later this year. I hope someone does come in and expand the operations so that this quality of food can continue on.

Enjoyable albeit expensive meal here with quirky Americana décor. Delighted to find an entirely vegan menu in the city. Food is served to members only upon registration (you only need to provide a name). We were seated right away once the registration was complete. Had the tomato and lemongrass soup, Kobe beef burger with cheese, Union station over spaghetti & molten chocolate cake for dessert. All the dishes except the soup were great. The soup wasn't bad, just a bit average. Not much lemongrass flavour but it was fine. The burger was juicy and flavourful and the pasta was good. Dessert was on the small side but warm and gooey. Due to the location and the niche cuisine it's a tad expensive for what you get (all veggies) and while the food was tasty, the price of the dishes is too high for us to revisit (on our current budget, for this trip). Staff were friendly and helpful with super English.
