Taboo — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

A fun lively place, in what was historically the red light district. Though US and British sailors no longer dock, the local Indonesian and Filipino population of women helpers still make this their home away from home, especially the night before their day off, which is Sundays. So the ratio of women is skewed highly in their favor. Possibly five to one. Watch out guys, since there are no more sailors to keep them entertained and most of these women don't get too much activity from Hong Kong men, they will want to dance with you.

Went to this bar with my friends, was my first time there. Went out to receive a call and on coming back the security guards won't let me in unless I was in the company of a man, like what???? I had my drink and my bag in the bar and all they shamelessly barred me from getting into the bar. Worst place ever, this was 31st of Dec 2019. This was way before covid and they better stop profiling people based on race. How can any visitors or those new to hk feel...

Very bad service . Filipina manager very cheater be aware guys she cheat in the orders and bill. I suggest you should never go to this bar.Dear owner please change the Filipina staffs . .
