Coffee was okay but was not a good experience for me. Although their menu didn't offer cortado to order, it was my taste. I know cortado is not a particularly popular drink in HK but it is undoubtedly a famous coffee beverage that a batista should know (I am a barista). The first thing the server said was she doesn't know what a cartado is (乜黎架). I explained what it was but she didn't want to make the drink. Then, she asked me to pick something on the menu. I agreed and chose to have a piccolo but asked for less milk. She replied that piccolo was already a small cup of drink and refused to put less milk.
I understand that, in a way, I am not trusting the profession of being a barista. But it was already quite unprofessional not knowing what a cortado is. It was even worse when the barista's attitude was bad.
I visited other shop on the same day and asked for the same thing. Although they made a wrong drink (a single shot macchiato) but the staffs were friendly and at least tried to make it.

Read moreAs the name suggest, the shop is a corner at the ground level of the Art Center. This is one of the two best coffee place around the Hong Kong Exhibition Center area. They also offer limited self-made pastries.
If you don't want to walk too far into the island for coffee, I would strongly recommend that you get coffee from either here or another cafe inside Shui On Center.
