Not really a fan of live music places as the sound system tends to be quite jarring to my ears or the music selection not to my liking. Surprisingly, Chin Chin has a nice and relaxing vibe and the music on that night when I visited was right up my alley. While the lead singer's native language may not be Cantonese or Chinese, she still delivered the songs pretty well along with her band mates. Glad to find a lounge bar like this to end the day and unwind. Even when seated near the stage, the sound level and quality were still acceptable to me. Had the virgin mojito mocktail which was actually more sour than refreshing. Would have preferred a stronger mint taste to balance out the lime flavour. As for the complimentary snacks, the crackers were not crunchy while I didn't try the mala nuts. Wanted to get some bar bites from the menu but nothing really caught my fancy so it was kind of disappointing. There is an outdoor area which would be good for people who want to chat without the music but I felt that being surrounded by tall buildings around just felt a bit constricted and uncomfortable. It would have been better if the bar was on a higher floor with less obstructions around it. Service-wise, I thought that it was a bit slow for a weekday evening. While I understood that a beer might be prepared and served faster than a mocktail, to have the mocktail served much later than a cocktail made me wonder what was the issue. I can only imagine that the wait would be longer on a busier night.

Really enjoyed my evening at Chin Chin Bar, Hyatt Regency TST recently. The ambience is classy yet relaxed, and the live music made it even more enjoyable. I had a glass of 18-year Laphroaig, which was excellent, and got a 40% discount as an in-house guest — a great perk, isn’t it? Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A perfect spot to unwind after a busy day in Kowloon. Highly recommended if you’re staying at the hotel

This is a busy place and I would recommend to book in advance!! This bar has a wide selection of interesting cocktails and whiskey, and complimentary snacks are provided. The environment is cozy, lively and also relaxing. Definitely a good place to go after dinner with friends or your partner!

I recently visited Chin Chin Bar with a friend and had a disappointing experience. My friend ordered a glass of wine, while I ordered the fried beef noodles. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that I needed to order a drink until we settled the bill.

The waitress was quite cool and didn’t smile, which added to the awkwardness. It felt like she assumed we were trying to take advantage of the situation. I was surprised by her tone and the way she handled this matter.

To be honest, the noodles were nearly HKD 300, which is quite expensive. Given that I’m a regular customer, I expected better service, especially from a place that aims for a five-star experience.

Overall, this visit has left a bad experience, and I doubt I...

Really disappointed with my experience here. Came by hoping to grab a drink, but was told the bar was full and asked to leave my contact info. The staff promised they’d call me when a seat opened up, so I waited outside. I saw several groups leave and empty seats inside, but no one ever bothered to update me or let me know what was happening. The staff clearly saw me waiting, but never acknowledged me again or kept their promise to call. Ended up waiting over 30 minutes for nothing. Not the kind of service I...
