Incredible local Venezuelan food.
We found this place on google Really glad we came and waited in line
There was a small queue forming but fortunately as there was only 2 of us we got seated straight away
The menu is on a qr code And luckily there is photos of the food with the explanation in Spanish and English Something to note …… The food served, looks identical to the pictures!
Lots of different types of food options Burgers, Arrepos, salads, so much to choose from.
We had a green salad it was incredibly fresh with a yogurt dressing.
We also had the roast beef Massive portions So many lovely fresh vegetables it was lovely with a really flavoursome gravy. So much so we had enough beef to wrap Some up and give it to the local street dogs too. The little furry baba loved it too.
The vibe in here was lovely - plenty of tourists and great music. Clean toilets Great service - really friendly waiters and waitresses.
They also serve filtered water for free which is nice
For 2 meals and drinks it came to less than £15 including the tip.
Highly recommend this place!

Read moreI ordered a cachapa con queso. This consists of a round thick corn meal like bread folded in half with 10 pieces of cheese and then cheese on top with sour cream drizzled on top. My husband ordered the pabellon crilol which was a plate with black beans topped with cheese, shredded beef, rice, and fried ripe plantains. There was no sauce to go with this dish and we both thought it was really plain tasting. We both ordered juices here because people in reviews said it was good but it tasted like watery orange juice (when we ordered mango and guyaba). I do not understand why this place has such...
Read moreExcellent vegetarian Venezuelan food. The waitress was so friendly and informative. She let us know that three of the typical Venezuelan dishes could be made vegetarian (they have a leaf symbol next to them on the menu). We were keen to try a more typical dish and decided not to order the falafel plate which is listed as the veg option. We had the arepas with veggies, black beans and cheese, and the plate of rice, plantains, beans and veggies. Both were delicious, well cooked and fresh. The arepas were different from Colombian ones - smaller, chewy inside and crispy outside and with a stronger corn flavour. Wine was also good, and they have BBC beers. We bought a little bar of Venezuelan chocolate too. Really friendly staff, and muy...
