MERAKI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Quindío

Fantastic food- I had the beef burger with chips. The chips are some of the nicest chips we've had in South america (in 5 months). The burger was really juicy and had a great taste. The place is also so pretty with a lovely atmosphere

Most importantly, I forgot my bag there but only realised at around 9.40pm, and the restaurant shuts at 8pm. I found their number on goggle and called, the man picked up immediately, I explained what had happened and that I had a night but at 10.15pm. He said they had the bag and he'd meet my boyfriend there. He came to meet my boyfriend straight away and by 10 past 10 my boyfriend was back at the bus station with my bag. I cannot explain how grateful I am for this, the best service anyone could hope...

I have to say that the service is amazing. The food was good too. But my partner and I just went there for dinner and my husband's stomach wasn't feeling too well from an earlier meal. My husband got up and searched for someplace to "take care of business" and the staff immediately came over and asked what was wrong. I told them that his stomach was hurting him and it might be good poisoning or an allergy to Lulo, they immediately offered him lime juice (supposedly a remedy for upset stomachs) and even brought a to go container (I don't think that's normal for this place) for his...

We got lured into extremely expensive drinks without realising. We asked for whisky and rum and they served us the most expensive possibilities. We spent literally 5 times as much on drinks than on food. They were not transparent and it all felt sneaky. We got tricked. We didn't only lose a lot of our hard earned money, but we also felt stupid. Added to this, it took them 45 minutes to serve us our pasta, and they could not give us our apetizers at all because the oil could not get warm enough.
