Horrible experience, with the food and with the front man. First of all we had to wait for a bottle of water for 15mins. The trout was really dry, it was roasted for too long. There was hardly any meat to eat. The quesadilla was very heavy, too much cheese and I didn’t get the guacamole. Moving to guacamole - we asked for extra, but the thing that came was certainly not guacamole it was some kind of terrible artificial sauce with vinagre. At the end, when we were leaving the greeter/front man was unexpectadly mean. We said that unfortunately we had bad experience, and the food was terrible, yet the greeter said that he knows the chef, and it is only our perspective. Tuve la suerte de visitar recientemente el restaurante Zaguán de la Estación en Salento, y déjame decirte que fue toda una experiencia gastronómica memorable. Desde el momento en que entras, te envuelve una atmósfera acogedora, con decoración que mezcla tradición salentina y detalles rústicos muy agradables; ideal para relajarte después de un día de turismo.

Pero lo que realmente se roba el show es la comida. Todo estaba super delicioso: sabores frescos, presentaciones cuidadas, ingredientes locales en su punto justo. Y los platos de trucha… ¡un requisito! Si visitas Salento, no puedes irte sin probar alguna de sus versiones de trucha. Ya sea al ajillo, en salsa, frita o como la preparen, siempre sorprenden. La textura suave, el sabor delicado, bien sazonada y acompañada de guarniciones que complementan sin opacar: un verdadero deleite.

El servicio también merece aplausos: atentos, amables, conocían los platos y te orientaban para que elijas bien si no estás familiarizado con su carta. Los tiempos de espera fueron razonables, y todo llegó en su punto.
