Galata Restaurant ( Turkish Restaurant ) — Restaurant in Prague

My family and I were thrilled to have dined in Galata Restaurant. The Turkish cuisine was served in amazing flavor and texture, making you want to come and taste again. Take for instant, Döner and Adana here is real, tasty flesh whose quality rarely found elsewhere, not even in our favorite Turkish restaurants in Berlin. The location is strategic, in adjacent Prague Main Station.

When we first arrived there, a charming guy named Berkay, greeted us nicely and served us friendly, together with the young lady colleague who also served us (unfortunately, we didn't ask her name), like we are the regular customer while this was our first visit.

One thing we regret so far is we just found Galata Restaurant on the last day visiting Prague and wish that we enjoy the cuisine here earlier.

There is an old arrogant man who pretends to be an owner I guess. He got very upset that I paid by card instead of cash. The venue was empty, but he pointed me to sit next to the window cause I was alone. I set where I wanted and he got upset once again. The food itself was 7 out of 10 and way too expensive for the size of their portions. It took them 10 minutes to prepare doner with rice on plate. The guy who serves the food (not the owner) is extremely slow and it was kind of annoying to see as it looked very unprofessional. Their rating in Google is suspiciously high and might be fake. I would give them a couple more chances by coming later to see whether they improved since I understand it is a “new” business and we all learn, however, I won’t recommend it to anyone as their attitude is way too awkward and kinda aggressive. Hope there will be less businesses like this in Prague cause you are just ruining...
