We were 4 adults and 2 children. Kids only had a pastry.

Great selection of dishes on the menu. Beautifully presented food. Clearly a popular spot on a sunny Saturday morning.

Service was poor by staff who are way too young to serve in a busy cafe and don't have an understanding of what good service is. We had to repeat the order to the young waitress a few times and she kept saying she "got it" but when we asked her to confirm what she wrote down it was still wrong.

When coffees were served, the staff just left them on the table centrally without giving any info on which is what (ordered 4 different coffees which we couldn't tell as all looked the same). Very basic in waiting tables to either confirm what is being served or at least make sure you match the order with the respective guest.

Ordered an omelette, 2 poached eggs on avocado toast and one eggs benedict with salmon.

Food arrived after 20 minutes. Beautiful presentation. However the eggs in the 3 dishes with poached eggs were very cold. They clearly been waiting for a long time. We ate a bit and., when realised they are all cold, we compained to the waitress who was very confused about what to do or say. The manager came, was polite, and told us that "the toast should be cold", which we understand but the issue is with eggs being cold. He replaced our eggs with one (!) freshly made poached egg each (there were two in the dish we ordered). Replacement eggs arrived within 5 minutes and were warm as should be.

In summary: could be great if service improves and if should improve, a lot. A little smile from the staff and waiting staff that know what they're doing will improve the experience...

I have The Original Marty’s kitchen as one of my most favorite breakfast places ever. This time I wanted to show this place to my friend, I even checked beforehand if the place is open. And we arrived and it says it’s under construction. Amazing! I called the new place and asked to communicate to their boss to update the opening hours.. now couple of days passed and ofc they didn’t. I guess on purpose. Also I am sure we’re not the only once to face this problem since I even read a comment about this in a rating of the other branch. Definitely this is a star that I subtract since this Is not a nice way to treat people. The second is for our experience at the new branch: I called and was told that no reservations are done on weekends but when we were queuing 2 women with a dog came in and the boss offered them a table before the others standing in the queue. Anything amazing experience to be treated as a customer. overall the quality of the food seemed to still be fine, but the staff was too stressed and not as welcoming as it used to be in the other branch. Last but not least, we were asked 3 times by the boss to order sth even though we told we were already served … I also didn’t feel comfortable to re-order having the impression they wanted us out ASAP for new people to be seated. Not cool experience. Hope you’ll improve this, that’s why only 2...

I used to love this place. The staff was great, everything went smoothly and food was amazing. Unfortunately last two visits were disappointing. Last time, I called ahead around lunch time (we had two kids with us so I didn't want to wait too long). Man, who picked up the call was nice and told me to come. That there is no possibility to make a reservation but the wait would be 5 mins max. We came, an unpleasant lady wasn't happy about us (I am used to, when people see two little kids, although ours are quiet:)). She told us we could have a free table but we could spend an hour tops (because of some reservation, which I knew wasn't possible..). I was ok with that, because we just wanted to eat and leave (parents understand:). Unfortunately, 45 mins went by and we still didn't have any food. Our older son was just repeating he was hungry. We got the food late, they actually forgot about our drinks as well and the lade wasn't nice at all. It was my last visit, the expe wasn't pleasant at all.some tourists at the table next to us waited to order and were hushed because they just asked..I understand the place is packed and there's quite the rush, but I don't like lies (the...

I really tried to give this place a chance after chance. This was my fourth visit. I'll leave out the cash only fact. Customers hate this and the management knows. Food was OK, nothing special. The moussaka was tiny compared to the sandwich. Instead of cherry coke which I even pointed my finger on, I got regular coke. OK, happens. But what was really unprofessional was the fact that the waitress tried to take our plates even though the cutlery was still apart. It's a widely understood fact, that if cutlery is apart on the plate, the person is not done yet even if there are only crumbs left. When this happened the second time, I took the cutlery, put it apart even more, smiled and said "not yet". How can you work in hospitality and not know this basic fact? Also, one of the reasons I went here was, that some time ago, the management announced that it's not an establishment suited for children. The second we came into the restaurant, we almost fell over a big child carriage placed right behind the door. So what's up with that? Caved into peer pressure?
