Really unpleasant experience at Yori and staff need training in dealing with complaints. We eat out often and love to give good feedback. Unfortunately Yori was so poor we did not finish the meal and left most of both the main courses. We ate the starters because we were very hungry and hoped things might improve. The Tom Kha was ok but the summer rolls were not summer rolls… Summer rolls were NOT as Vietnamese summer rolls and more like sushi & just full of rice. Stodgy with little flavour a slither of pineapple and not sure why else as there was so little of it I couldn’t work out what it was . SUMMER ROLLS ARE NOT THIS - look at your own menu pictures and description. This isn’t what I received. Tom Kha tasted like a can of sauce mixed with water and added onion, a mushroom and chicken… it was ok, but tasted almost exactly like the red curry for main but with chewy beef in this. The Kung Pao was inedible…. I tried to eat some of the veg (which was fresh and crunchy) and chicken but the intensely salted, over soy'd thick ‘gravy’ (could not be described as a sauce) was awful and we went to find a staff member who asked about the food. I told him about the main course which was the worst and he replied that everyone who comes eats it!! Not us. We were looking forward to a Vietnamese meal but this place does not know its identity as there are too many cultures clashing with Japanese/ Thai/ Korean/ Vietnamese all being mixed up together and not being authentic to their own recipes. 3 service for the waitress who welcomed us. If it wasn’t for her then zero all round. This should have been heavily discounted. Very dissatisfied and...
Read moreAh, Yori Restaurant here in Prague, a little taste of Vietnam away from home. After a Vietnamese Uber driver's recommendation, we found ourselves in this tranquil space. The setting was lovely, clean, and calming. To kick off our culinary adventure, we savored the spring rolls – perfectly fried, with minced pork, glass noodles, and shiitake mushrooms. Yet, my heart ached for the mint, basil, and lettuce wrap that would've taken them to the next level.
Next up, the mango salad, a delightful medley of mango, cucumber, and carrot, though lacking the customary peanuts and fried shallots. We craved a burst of flavor, requesting extra chilies for a fee, a spicy investment I was willing to make. Our journey took a turn with the Bun Cha, a dish close to my heart since my time at the iconic Hanoi spot. Although described as "Pork pieces marinated in lemon leaf, galangal with rice noodles and fresh salad, served with sweet and sour dressing," it didn't meet my expectations. The absence of mint and dearth of coriander, along with missing meat balls, left me yearning for authenticity.
Yet, the restaurant surprised me by compensating for the missing peanuts in the mango salad, a gesture I didn't anticipate. While not the worst Vietnamese fare I've encountered, Yori falls short of the authentic experience I sought. The food is undoubtedly fresh, yet the symphony of flavors – the crunch, herbal freshness, sourness, sweetness, and spice – didn't quite dance on my palate as anticipated. It's a valiant effort, but alas, not the Vietnamese ambassador I hoped...

Edited / Added review as a reply on owners' comment,
We left the tips for the waiters as I've mentioned waiters were really nice. The tips were for their pocket although the issue with the Korean noodles was because the waiter understood wrongly and got it at first with the appetizers and the soup however, he asked and we have requested that we get the appetizers and soup first and then the main dish / noodles. Good to honestly mention that the tips were supposed to be less however the person who paid didn't realize how much they added until we got the receipt because the waiter pointed were to click, which wasn't nice from them anyways.
The noodles were chewy rubbery almost and super sticky as they stayed mostly under a warmer for 15/20 mins after they were returned to the kitchen. They were supposed to make new ones. 4/10 doesn't mean they were uneatable, but they lack what they are meant to be, if they were not eatable and food to be thrown away, I would have mentioned that and a clear 1/10.
checking the previous reviews from other customers now, clearly we shouldn't have chosen your place as it's not just us having these comments and unlikes. It seems you really need to work on your quality of food and...
