Title: awfully awkward and unprofessional service. Grab a beer and some pop-corn before reading this long, blood-curdling review that I wish I never had to write. I arrived late in Prague with my girlfriend, we were hungry and we hoped we could find some place in the area that was open and could offer dinner. We ask a first time at this bar, and the male waiter with long hair very kindly informs us that unfortunately the kitchen is closed and they can only provide drinks. We are not here to discuss poor business choices on Halloween night (I mean come on, not even the frier for some french fries still on?) which furthermore not depend from him, so we leave and try to find some other place. In the area no other restaurant or bar offers dinner after 21 (??) so we decide to buy a bag of chips and two sandwiches, and try to go back to this place and see if we could have our own chips and buy the drinks. We very politely show the bags of chips to the same waiter, and ask if we can sit and have our chips while ordering beers. The bar is half empty, so there is plenty of space and apparently no food service, so it should be fine right? The waiter seems fine with it, but suddenly the waitress with dark hair storms brutally by him and very rudely starts talking in Czech to him, but even if we don't understand, she's clearly indicating that our chips shouldn't be in the bar. Apparently they have some bags of chips (nowhere to be seen) so they can't accept our chips. My girlfriend gets irritated by her attitude and says that it's fine if we can't have our chips, but there was no need to be so blunt as we were asking politely. The waitress doesn't say a word but is clearly even more angry than before. We sit at a table, leaving our food on it clearly sealed and unopened, and we order two beers and their chips. From this moment on, the waitress starts to bang and hit anything she's using at the bar while preparing the drinks, making an unreasonable amount of noise and giving ugly stares to us. The male waiter apologizes to us for her and tells us that we can sit outside and have our chips, but we are fine with the chips they should bring. He tells us that he has to look in the warehouse for them as they are not in the bar (??), so he goes to check. A client with a guitar goes to pay to the waitress, but for some reason she starts raising the voice with him, so after a little discussion he pays and then leaves. Already at this point the feeling is not nice as it's clear that there's something wrong with the attitude of the waitress and that she's being moody and aggressive not only with us two foreigners, but also with local guests. The waiter comes back without chips, (we never got the chips we ordered, probably out of stock) and starts arguing with her about it. The argument goes on and off, interrupted by awkward moments of drinks preparation, for at least 15 minutes, with a gradual, dramatic increase of tones and nervous gestures, to the point that all the guests are staring at them, then he throws a towel to the ground, empties his wallet, all while very explicitly expresses his dissatisfaction with her attitude and policies. Everyone was very uncomfortable and we didn't know what to say. Then the waitress ends his shift and forces him to leave, something that we learn after asking him if it's all ok. She called him names just for not forcing us to leave since we had brought our chips. I have an advice for the management, fire this unhappy, moody, arrogant and aggressive waitress and keep the kind waiter. I can't believe that this customer service is acceptable in a European capital. I do not recommend this place, also because the setting is rather average. Thanks for...

I've been meaning to write a review since we got back Early Feb 2025.
So, seven lads, long week away, I'm sure you know the score. One of my mates left his phone and glasses in a cab on the way over, as we were staying on the other side of the bridge. After 83 calls trying to get the Uber driver to answer the phone, I finally got hold of him... Only for him to speak no English whatsoever....
The beautiful waitress came to my rescue, though! She talked to the cab driver, who told her he would come and bring the phone back to the bar.
15 minutes later the phone was returned.
We were all seriously impressed by how helpful and lovely the staff are at this restaurant.
The lovely girl even bought over some free shots to help us celebrate getting the phone and glasses back.
The only really disappointing thing is it will probably be a whole year before we get to go back again!!
5 star service...
Oh, and the pizza's here are absolutely...
