Origin Bar - #1 Bar in Prague Center — Restaurant in Prague

Scammmm! Be careful! We were in Prague for my friends birthday, while exploring the city we stopped to have some cocktails and celebrate. Everything was going well, bartender were friendly and they made nice drinks. We had couple of cocktails and bottle of proseeco. The amount we paid was 470 euro. The bill was not presented but just the amount. After we paid the bill i wanted to thank to the bartenders. The guy approached me while holding my arms like “how can we help you” .Introducing himself as a manager ! i felt like he is trying to take me out and i said why you holding my hand ? Can you just not touch me ? He was like “ah ok” and he called the security to take us out. I was shocked , didn’t understand why they are acting like that? The security who was speaking us friendly 20 minutes ago completely changed! That was so disrespectful after spending that much money and i was not able to find any logical explanation why they did that!! There can be only explanation that they didnt want us to ask for the bill may be !!! Cause there can be no other explanation! When i asked to security why they are acting like this and we just spend quite a good money in your property? His answer were like because you didn’t spoke well wirh the manager ! And all i said was why you are holding my arm ? Cause i felt unsafe No matter we were sure that we haven’t consumed that much but very never asked for the bill, just paid and wanted to thank bartenders for their service! We were celebrating birthday thats why we didnt want to make down our mood and avoided the conflict,moved on.

This bar is complete catfish. I went there with my friends and since we really like moscow mule, we ordered moscow mule double shot. Original single shot costs 265 crowns, the double is not marked in the menu even. When we approached to pay, server told us one moscow mule double costs 460 crowns. The single shot of absolute vodka is (in the menu) 150 crowns, so if you attended elementary school mathematics, numbers dont add up. So no. 1 - the costs are totaly unhumanly. No. 2 they scam people. I am 100% sure I would get you for "prekvapive ujednani" from czech civil code, only luck is, i was super tired. I am really considering contacting "ceska obchodni inspekce" which you would surely enjoy very much. Overall for THREE DRINKS we payed 1.400,- kc....

“Fake Reviews, Rude Staff & Average Drinks — Worst Bar in Prague”

We went here for our birthday night because of the “great” reviews, but later realized many of them are misleading. The bar offers free shots in exchange for 5-star ratings, which explains the inflated score.

The atmosphere was dull, the drinks very average, and the service extremely unprofessional. We paid our bill and left, only to be chased down the street by a security guard accusing us of not paying. It turned out the staff hadn’t communicated properly about our outside order. Instead of apologizing, they became aggressive and even told us to “be quiet.”
