After reading the reviews, I had high hopes for this hotel. The reality was that this hotel has some major issues that need to be addressed. First, the hotel had a few things they did well. The breakfast was great and it had plenty to choose from. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. With our stay, the problems begin with the bathroom. When we entered the room, we noticed a large wet spot in front of the bathroom. It appeared that there was a leak but we didn't see anything in the bathroom that was causing it. We told the woman at the front desk several times and she told us that the cleaning staff would take care of it. For the week that we stayed there, the leak was never fixed. The room heating/air conditioning had issues in that the rooms were always warm and the air conditioning never work. We shut off the heat and the rooms were still very warm. The cleaning staff used a plastic bottle to keep the window open. The noise coming from the street overnight is bad. When we checked in, we were given ear plugs. The reason you are given ear plugs is because the noise from people partying from 10pm to 6am. Every day we were there, we woke up several times each night from people yelling outside. Also, there is a casino at the end near the hotel which also contributes to the noise. On the day we were checking out, there were 3 police officers in the lobby. We don't know why but it was very odd. I again told the woman at the desk about the leak and she told us to wait. We waited for 15 minutes until the woman told us that her manager is not available. I can't recommend staying here. We had a friend who stayed in another room. Their experience with the noise and the heating and air conditioning was the same as what we experienced.

We booked this hotel because of location and good reviews. Check in was good and fast. We get room 305 (stay a way from this room), not enough light, no stand for our luggages ( ended on floor), blackouts don't work, some of electrical receptacle don't have power, worst place to put safe, bottom of closet, very hard access, very old furniture and carpet, room was built in attic, so be careful when you walk in room don't hit your head, the pictures it's far from what we get. There is a fridge in room with some drinks and snacks, satellite TV without tv guide, very basics amenities. The best it's shower, big, good light, heated floors. We celebrated New year in Marriott hotel almost same price like Friday Hotel. Way better, for sure we will stay here nextime. 5 minutes walk from Friday Hotel. Breakfast in 1 floor good selection of food no complain.

It's a mediocre hotel, trying to look posh. Location is great, can't deny that and breakfasts are great (wide selection of foods, perfect bacon) but that's about it. Corridors look like from a palace but rooms are small and dark. Mine was from the back side of the building and I could still hear noises from the front street at night. I was also often woken up by loud machine noise from the back alley my window was overlooking. Carpet in my room was dirty, walls scratched and wooden elements banged up. This is not a **** level. Don't recommend this hotel if you're visiting Prague for business because breakfast starts at 8, which is totally absurd. Otherwise go for it if you won't be spending too much time in the room.

Not happy with my stay here. We booked a reservation and upon arrival, we were given a room with broken air conditioning during a very hot and humid day - the room was unbearable to stay in. We wanted to call down to reception to inform them and realized that the room did not have a phone either. Upon informing reception, she told us it was because we a left a window open, which we did not. Might I add the receptionist spent more time on her phone than she did actually helping us. Finally she agreed to send us to a different room, but upon entering this second room we noticed that the A/C in this room was also broken. Then in came housekeeping yelling at us in her language for whatever reason we could not understand. We then informed the receptionist again and she told us she had no rooms left. Then miraculously she found a room for us on the second floor and said there has been an issue with A/C on the 1st floor…so I don’t understand why she tried to send us to 2 different rooms on the first floor if she knew the A/C had issues. Also I saw her pull out a stack of room key holders, so I’m questioning if there really were “no rooms left”. The third room we were given had working A/C, but the cleanliness was questionable as I found a hair in the sink. The bathroom also did not have a shower curtain and there was visible water damage to the bathroom door. At this point we were just happy to have working A/C so we just called it a night. Might I also add that the tv in this room was so small I had mistaken it for a computer monitor.

The only positives is the location which is walking distance to everything. The breakfast was decent and there’s an espresso machine...

First off: This is not a 4 star hotel, more like 3 stars. Don't expect too much!

Good: *Room was nice with a nice bathroom, it was small but OK. Everything seemed decently clean but NOT spotless. *Bed was made everyday and room tidied up everyday. *Breakfast was good BUT it was exactly the same everyday so if you stay more than 3 nights it will get boring. *From staff I only talked with one person, a man working in reception, he made a conversation and greeted me eveytime he saw me. *Best thing about this hotel is its location, everything is in walking distance (charles Bridge, powder tower, old town, shopping mall, museums) and metro! If you are traveling with smaller children this might be a good option because you don't have to walk far from anywhere!

Bad: *Room was very cold, I could feel wind coming in from windows! No heating available. *bed sheets were not changed. *Room had no overhead light (only bedside lamps) so it was dark all the time , I had to pack near bathroom 😅 *Once again , breakfast lacked variety and had the same thing everyday. *WiFi didn't work *Elevator the slowest thing in the world you can go up and down 3x by feet before the elevator comes 😅

Overall my stay was good and I...
