We dined at this wonderful Czech restaurant for 2 consecutive nights, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The authenticity of the Czech cuisine here is unparalleled – every dish tasted like a piece of Czech culture on a plate.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of traditional Czech dishes, from potato soup to tender roast pork. Each bite was bursting with flavour, and the portions were generous. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of the food was evident.
What truly stood out, besides the delicious food, was the impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Czech cuisine and exceptional service. It's a place where you can savour the flavours of the Czech Republic while being treated like a...
Read moreWe were quite disappointed with our visit. The waitress, Jana, was very unfriendly and at times even rude. From the beginning, it felt like she didn’t like the fact that we were from Ukraine.
When we politely asked her to turn off the fan that was blowing directly at our child’s head, she refused. We also asked to change the table to avoid the draft, but she claimed there were no free tables — even though the entire place was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied besides ours.
At one point, our child dropped their pacifier on the floor — the waitress noticed it, stepped right over it, and just walked away without saying a word or offering to help.
We ordered the goulash, which was frankly not tasty. The meat was so tough it was nearly impossible to chew. The chicken soup we ordered for the kids was okay.
Overall, we have no desire to return. The attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this...
Read moreEveryone complaining they were forced to order food after sitting and at higher prices compared to next door, declining special orders for altering dishes or drinks and being told where to sit to accommodate maximum guests… please read a book, try to understand that this is a pub in a central place in the old town with high rent and small space, so they have to do that. Just for comparison in Tokyo and Osaka two bars on the same 9th floor of down town building have completely different prices and rules - one was cheap and friendly and the other charges you additional 10% for service, large amount for sitting in the first hour and smaller amount for each hour after per person. If you dont like it leave. For me food was great, service was great, atmosphere was quite ok for a central...
