Unfortunately, this was genuinely one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is very central. Everything else was far below acceptable standards.||When we arrived, the receptionist was polite enough, and we were allowed to check in a little earlier than expected. That gave us a good first impression but it went downhill from there. As soon as we walked into the room, we were hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. There was visible dust on the headboard, the carpet didn’t feel or look clean, and the general condition of the room was poor.||After settling in, we got into bed and immediately started itching. That’s when we checked the duvet and bedsheets and were shocked to find dirty yellow stains on the pillow, duvet, and sheets. We tried calling reception, but no one answered the phone. So we went down to the front desk and showed the staff the photos. One of the employees gave us new bedding but we had to change it all ourselves, which is not something you expect to do at a hotel.||The next morning, we went down for breakfast, which was very basic. For the price we paid, we expected a much better selection and quality.||When we returned to our room later in the day, housekeeping had been there. However, we discovered that one of their dirty cleaning cloths had been left inside our suitcase. We tried asking the cleaning staff about it, but they didn’t respond. We then showed the cloth to the man at reception, who just looked at us strangely and didn’t seem to care at all almost as if this kind of thing was normal at the hotel.||Later, the cleaner came back into our room to take the cloth, but again, there was no apology just a rude look, as if we had done something wrong.||At that point, we had enough. We decided to check out earlier than planned and booked a different hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable or welcome staying any longer.||I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other hotels in the area with just as central a location, and I’m sure they offer a much better and more...

Read moreAGGRESSIVE MANAGER! I was shocked at his behaviour..... MY GOD! He is mentally sick, and never regrets his behaviour towards his customers.
I went there for dinner today at around 11 pm (24th April 2017). Their pretzels are on the table, ready to eat, and they give everyone the impression that they are complimentary. Without suspecting anything, I took one and ate it. Then when I placed my order, the waitress told me that I had to pay CZK 49 for the pretzel. Then she showed me the menu card on the table & showed me that it was part of the menu. I protested and asked to see the manager.
The manager was big, and NASTY LOOKING. He was aggressive. He looked and me and told me AGGRESSIVELY "Are you going to pay, or will I call the police?" . I asked him if he could waive it off, since I clearly did not know the pretzels were not free. He again AGGRESSIVELY told me "Either you pay or I call the police". I told him clearly that by displaying the pretzels on the table, they give everyone the impression that they are free. He then started saying a whole lot of things in Czech, and I told him, "Look, I'll pay, but you should make a note of this, it's very misleading for the customers".
A minute later, the waitress came with a bill for CZK 49 (for the pretzel) and told me that the MANAGER HAD CANCELLED THE REST OF MY ORDER, and that I had to leave!!!
After paying the CZK 49, I told the manager "Look, this is not the way to behave with your customers. Just so you know, I'm never coming here again".
And his reply was simply "Bye. have a nice day".
BE WARNED EVERYONE. DON'T GO...
