Unfortunately, this was genuinely one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The only positive thing I can say is that the location is very central. Everything else was far below acceptable standards.||When we arrived, the receptionist was polite enough, and we were allowed to check in a little earlier than expected. That gave us a good first impression but it went downhill from there. As soon as we walked into the room, we were hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. There was visible dust on the headboard, the carpet didn’t feel or look clean, and the general condition of the room was poor.||After settling in, we got into bed and immediately started itching. That’s when we checked the duvet and bedsheets and were shocked to find dirty yellow stains on the pillow, duvet, and sheets. We tried calling reception, but no one answered the phone. So we went down to the front desk and showed the staff the photos. One of the employees gave us new bedding but we had to change it all ourselves, which is not something you expect to do at a hotel.||The next morning, we went down for breakfast, which was very basic. For the price we paid, we expected a much better selection and quality.||When we returned to our room later in the day, housekeeping had been there. However, we discovered that one of their dirty cleaning cloths had been left inside our suitcase. We tried asking the cleaning staff about it, but they didn’t respond. We then showed the cloth to the man at reception, who just looked at us strangely and didn’t seem to care at all almost as if this kind of thing was normal at the hotel.||Later, the cleaner came back into our room to take the cloth, but again, there was no apology just a rude look, as if we had done something wrong.||At that point, we had enough. We decided to check out earlier than planned and booked a different hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable or welcome staying any longer.||I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other hotels in the area with just as central a location, and I’m sure they offer a much better and more...

Mixed.|The location is perfect, on the upper end of Wenceslas Square and the lower end of the Old Town.|The Mustek metro station is next door and over 65s travel for free (no barriers).|The hotel itself does have issues and I’m not sure if a lot of it is the fault of the hotel or Booking.com.|Contrary to the Booking.com description my standard room did not have a desk to put my laptop on which was seriously inconvenient for looking at maps, attractions and generally planning my day ahead, not to mention all the usual internet things like Facebook, the news etc etc.|Yes, some of those can be done on a phone but not all the trip things.|It also ruled out sorting out my day’s photos which is a big thing for me.|There was also no coffee machine and other smaller things but there was a kettle and there were lots of charging points.|The biggest aggravation for me was the noise coming from a radiator, like water constantly flowing very loudly and that ruined my night’s sleep.|Taking out the room card from the slot (which stopped the tap water in the bathroom!!!) or turning off the central heating made no difference.|I reported it to reception but nothing got done.|The bathroom is good.|Breakfast was adequate but a shame that the bacon was cold after not very long and all I could find to put on the slightly stale bread was honey, and even the packs of that needed looking for.|There were 2 coffee machines, one only gave a very small espresso and possibly hot water but the other one was working as long as the sticky tape holding it together was in place.|This does not reflect on the girl looking after the multi area breakfast room and she did very well replenishing things.|Sadly, the lack of desk and radiator noise would stop me...

AGGRESSIVE MANAGER! I was shocked at his behaviour..... MY GOD! He is mentally sick, and never regrets his behaviour towards his customers.

I went there for dinner today at around 11 pm (24th April 2017). Their pretzels are on the table, ready to eat, and they give everyone the impression that they are complimentary. Without suspecting anything, I took one and ate it. Then when I placed my order, the waitress told me that I had to pay CZK 49 for the pretzel. Then she showed me the menu card on the table & showed me that it was part of the menu. I protested and asked to see the manager.

The manager was big, and NASTY LOOKING. He was aggressive. He looked and me and told me AGGRESSIVELY "Are you going to pay, or will I call the police?" . I asked him if he could waive it off, since I clearly did not know the pretzels were not free. He again AGGRESSIVELY told me "Either you pay or I call the police". I told him clearly that by displaying the pretzels on the table, they give everyone the impression that they are free. He then started saying a whole lot of things in Czech, and I told him, "Look, I'll pay, but you should make a note of this, it's very misleading for the customers".

A minute later, the waitress came with a bill for CZK 49 (for the pretzel) and told me that the MANAGER HAD CANCELLED THE REST OF MY ORDER, and that I had to leave!!!

After paying the CZK 49, I told the manager "Look, this is not the way to behave with your customers. Just so you know, I'm never coming here again".

And his reply was simply "Bye. have a nice day".

BE WARNED EVERYONE. DON'T GO...

On arrival, we were greeted by a great receptionist, who was very helpful and professional and managed to check us in a little bit earlier, which was wonderdul as we have been travelling for a long time. Unfortunately, right after check in, we realised there were some serious cleanliness issues. First, I noticed large cobwebs full of dust right anove bed. I had to ask the cleaner in the hallway and remove them myself as she was too short to reach it. You may still be able to see them in the room now, as even I struggled, however I shouldn't have to sleep under that. It didn't stop there I'm afraid. I tried to plug in my bedside lamp in socket (one of them doesn't work) and noticed a build up of debris and dust by the bed that wasn't hoovered for a long time. On the other side od the bed, we found a bits of food and old vape from previous guest, that is unacceptable! We informed the reception ans he was very apologetic and told us he will send the cleaner back after we leave the room. Just before having shower, I noticed one of the towels has black marks all over it. The fitted hairdryer is not working and has an awful lot dust build up on it. Finally, the window glass is broken and I have nearly cut my hand when admiring the beautiful view, as there were small shards on the window sil. I have contacted the reception as well as hotel director via email twice, no response. Very unproffesional!

I am not doing a review on my stay at Hotel Prague Inn. I am writing about our bad encounter with the restaurant in this hotel. I totally agreed with D, the local guide, who visited this restaurant and wrote a review about the restaurant a month ago. My husband and I ordered 2 beers and two main courses on Czech cuisine, a beef dish, and a pork dish from the menu. The waiter came with 2 sets of cutlery and a basket of cold bread and roll that were from our breakfast desk. ( we also stayed in the same hotel, Prague Inn, for 4 nights with breakfast included) When we picked up the bill, there were some extra charges that we didn't order. The cold bread/roll without butter was charged Czk100(€4.30), the white bread dumplings?? on the beef dish was charged Czk69(€2.97), and the potato dumplings on the pork dish were charged at Czk69(€2.97), too. On top of the extra charges on dishes we didn't order, the waiter demanded my husband pay 10% tip. All in all, we paid Czk1124 for 2 main courses and 2 beers instead of Czk886 for the beers and dishes we had initially ordered. We sincerely hope that the hotel management looks into this matter to avoid future disputes and unhappiness between diners and restaurant waiters, as well as improve the services provided to her customers.

Title: Misleading, uncomfortable, and unprofessional — avoid this hotel I wish I had believed the reviews. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a room with two single beds and a view, but I was given a completely different room with one bed, no view, and a broken coffee machine. I couldn’t even sleep properly because I couldn’t use the bed I was given. When I raised this issue with reception, the staff laughed and showed no concern at all. The advertising is misleading, and the breakfast was very poor, just as other reviews mentioned. Even the coffee machine didn’t work — it just splashed out hot water. Taped with sticky tape! There are no coffee cups , free to use the soup bowls . You could have given me a fold up bed, but you thought it’s funny that I sleep on the floor. I was crying and you laughed. If I book two beds I want two beds, If I book a view I want a view, If I book breakfast I want a coffee!!! I had a confirmation of my booking and you didn’t care. And I’m sure I paid twice for the city tax once in my booking and at reception. For the price I paid, this was unacceptable. There are many other hotels in the area — I recommend staying anywhere else. Anywhere is better.
