This place was under construction when we came here, so it looked rough on the outside, but on the inside it was quite elegant and comfortable.

The crust of the pizzas were nice and airy but just a little too doughy and tough. It could do with a little more crispiness and softness, or I guess, tenderness--if that's even the right word for it.

The diavola pizza, which was supposed to be spicy, was pretty much the same spiciness as its non-spicy counterparts, the Salame Napoli pizza. Would have been great if the diavola could actually have even a kick of spice to it. The salami was not spicy on the Diavola, and there were not enough salami slices on both pizzas. There were good amounts of cheese and sauce, but still, they were a bit stingy with the salami.

However, overall, the pizzas were still nicely seasoned, and the infused olive oils they offered paired really well with the pizzas. The spicy olive oil was my favourite.

The food could be improved just a bit, but the atmosphere was quite nice, and the service was friendly and great.

⭐ 8.5/10

Went to SASY The Original for dinner. It is located very center and easy to get to from the old town by a very short walk. The restaurant is on the first floor. It is a fairly large space they have with a large seating area. We were seated very promptly right by the window and had an excellent view of the busy street below.

Service was efficient but not hurried. The staff was very helpful in making selections. The food came out quickly and was beautifully presented. Only though is they don’t serve drinking water/tap water, and you have to buy bottles of water. But I’ve noticed this isn’t unique to SASY here in Prague.

The burratta was fantastic, came with warm bread and looked amazing. It tasted better than it looked so that says something.

The pizza was very good as well. Crust was crisp and very nice. Perhaps a little watery in the middle but that could be because we ordered the pizza that had tomato chunks (in addition to the sauce) which could have caused the extra hydration.

Overall we had a good time. Highly recommended for...

First of all the pizza was great and especially the Melanzane as a starter is 100% worth a try. Unfortunately I can give the restaurant only 3 out of 5 stars. The Service is not only bad...Its terrible. We had a reservation at 8pm and had to wait 15min until we got seated by an incredible unfriendly guy (I guess its the owner). I understand he is stressed but we are his customers and not his enemies... Once we ordered we had to wait over 45 min for our pizza and the servic team had no clue what they were doing...it was pure chaos. I read a lot reviews about the bad service and long waiting times and the owner excused all this by saying the restaurant is new and what so ever but those ratings on google are over 1 month old so he had enough time to fix those service problems but unfortunately nothing changed...It was good food but the service destroyed the whole experience.... The price for pizza is normal but the drinks are heavily...
