Residence St. Havel Prague Old Town — Hotel in Prague

In my opinion, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. For starters, there was no restaurant in the building, instead breakfast was served in a Hooters across the street that served the same breakfast with no range whatsoever. There was no AC unit in the apartment, instead there was some portable AC that had a tube going out the window to release the hot air, which means that if you want to sleep with the AC on, you’d have to keep the window open and deal with the sound coming from the streets which was unbearable. Additionally, the AC barely did its job and there was no temperature difference. The beds were really uncomfortable, the pillows were bad and the covers were very thick so sleeping in a hot room (cuz the AC unit is bad) was troublesome— there were many sleepless nights. The apartment I stayed at had 2 rooms that were connected to each other, meaning if you were stuck in the last room, you’d have to go through the other room to go to the toilet or kitchen— so there’s no privacy. There was no housekeeping, if you wanted your room to be cleaned, you’d have to pay. The pictures look nothing like the apartments. Great location in the heart of Prague. It has a total of 6 levels. The only lift wasn't working so we carried out luggage and stuff up 5 floors. The living room is spacious. I stayed with my family of 4 with 2 young children for 3 nights. While the aircon and stuff are functioning, do not expect high-end furnitures and fittings. Sofa bed is not as comfortable as the bed. There is a washing machine but it moves around when in spin-drying mode. Tarnished kettle and pot bottom were replaced after asking. Towels and bath gel are provided. While it is situated right next to Hooters and a gin bar, it is not too noisy. Plus good thing is there is air-con so we can shut out most noise. Expect bell from church beside apartment to ring...

My husband and I were so happy with our stay here! We stayed for 3 nights and the location could not have been better! There is no need for taxis because all the restaurants, bars, and attractions are in walking distance. My husband and I love to go out and didn’t mind the noise at times from Hooters (restaurant downstairs). Our apartment was very spacious and we had everything we needed for our stay. Katerina was so helpful and so friendly the entire time we were here. After getting up very early (3:30am) to catch our flight to Prague and a long day, Katerina went out of her to have our room ready for us at an earlier time than expected.
