Where to start...We should have known it was going to be bad when the greeter was dressed as a medieval knight. At that point we still had the chance to run but opted for the nice atmosphere with outdoor seating. The feta salad was good, the goulash soup was decent but under seasoned. My girlfriend enjoyed the bread once she got the butter, but this seemed less exciting in retrospect when we received the bill which included a butter charge X2. The sausages with sauerkraut were okay but then again Farmer John brand which I make for breakfast taste about the same for one quarter the cost. My beef rib was tender although very fatty but was accompanied by what appeared to be baby food potatoes with spinach. Picture included below. Yikes. All this excitement was topped off with a fire show where the girl lost the fire stick and burned an unsuspecting patron a few tables over from us....now that I think about it, I'm sure our experience was better than that poor lady's who now has a half burned white coat. All in all, the food was overpriced for authentic Czech cuisine. If you're looking for something good to eat, walk about a block over and eat at Bredovsky Dvur. It's authentic, delicious, reasonably priced and lacks the fire...

Bad experience ! We have been coming to this place since it opened - every year when we visit Prague/sometimes several times. This time was a first time in 3 years due to covid as we didn't fly anywhere. Gosh how did it change ! It went really downhill. Extremely rude staff. We walked in, really looking forward to our lunch, especially as it used to be really good. We sat down in the first part of the restaurant. Waited over 10 min - not to be served WITH sticky and absolutely filthy table. A young male waiter started to clean a table next to us , after someone who has just left. My husband asked for our table to be wiped cleared. FOR THIS MEMBER of staff to reply I DON'T CARE - IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM! and he was voicing other inappropriate comments ! If the tables are so filthy , mouth of the staff too I wonder how bad the kitchen is now ! AVOID as there are plenty of nice , clean restaurants about within a few minutes of the...

We entered this place around 11 p.m. with the warm welcome of the waiter, " you should order a meal if you want to stay". So we ordered some meal and drinks. Once the meal was served we wanted to have another run of drinks aroun 11.40 p.m. the waiter said, that the bar is closed and he can not bring us anything else, even if official opening hours are till 12 p.m. so without drinks, thursty we had to finish our meals and left the place very unsatisfied. This approach was everything, but customer friendly. Very unprofessional. Will never come back and advice all our friends to avoid this place. Usually waiters try tonl serve you, also warn you before last run and definitely not let yountoneat your meal without a drink. 2x times in.Prague, two times a bad experience. Surely not coming back to this city in...

As one other review mentioned, this place is for tourists in that it’s just OK food with super expensive prices for Prague standards. Also it was the only place that was open past 10pm except the kebab shops. I consistently paid less in Vienna than what I paid here, which is supposed to be a more expensive city. The cheapest thing was chicken schnitzel which still would have costed me close to 20 dollars! And it was not a generous portion as I took a quick look from the other table. I got the fish which was just OK. The herb they used was tasty but they used very little of it and that very locally on the fish. It didn’t even come with any carbs since potatoes would have been another 100CZK. I would go elsewhere given the choice.

Great place to eat Czech cusine. Pricey but working hours are long and food ambience are impressive. At the end they bring you shot of Beherovka with lemon which is unexpectedly smooth and tasty)) For kids they give lollipop 🍭. We ordered 4 traditional dishes, 1 beer and raspberry lemonade. All was increadibly tasty. Staff speaks multiple languages, so you can be comfortably served in En, Es, Ru, Ua. Spacious place. We came at 8-9 pm on Monday Dec 18th and there were half of the tables available. Also you can visit Christmas market and ice rink right there at the plaza right in front of the restaurant.
