UPD Comment: The original review focused only on food. However, during a family dinner on December 26, 2024, restaurant staff (two individuals) identified the author of the review and initiated a confrontation, even involving a nearby neighbor with a baby. Be cautious: this establishment may engage in intrusive and primitive methods of addressing feedback, such as approaching customers with remarks like, "Hey, what’s wrong? We saw your review on Google Maps before you left the place."

Now, I’ll provide a detailed review of the three dishes I tried:

Avocado Salad (approximately 300 CZK) The dish consisted of sliced avocado served on a bed of salad greens with pieces of baked pumpkin and a sauce. However, what is "sauce" in a non-fast-food establishment? Ideally, it should have a natural, well-balanced flavor (e.g., olive oil, lemon, and fresh herbs). Instead, it felt rushed, possibly relying on pre-made or artificial ingredients, or just a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Is this truly the level of a restaurant charging twice the average price of a salad in Prague?

Chicken Soup (95 CZK) The core of any good chicken soup is a rich, flavorful broth. Unfortunately, this dish lacked both depth and the use of natural spices. It seemed like a shortcut was taken, using ready-made Maggi seasoning instead of preparing a proper stock. The result was an uninspiring and almost flavorless broth—not something I’d consider worthy of the term "soup."

Duck (455 CZK) This was undoubtedly the best dish of the meal. The meat was well-prepared, though the presentation could have been enhanced with a more creative garnish or sauce. However, it seems the restaurant chose not to go the extra mile despite the premium price.

Overall Impression While the food wasn’t terrible, it was significantly overpriced for the quality and flavors offered—nothing extraordinary or worth the premium. Additionally, the uncomfortable stalking experience with the staff further detracted...

Really disappointing experience 😔

We’re staying at the hotel and chose it partly because of this restaurant, planning to eat here during our stay. The first night was great, no complaints. But on our second night it was the complete opposite.

When we arrived the restaurant was busy but not full. There were tables free outside, and inside was almost empty apart from one table with drinks. The indoor area was set with cutlery/napkins and nothing to show it wasn’t available, as that one other table was seated. We sat down and waited, but no one came over despite several waiters passing by and we were in their view.

Eventually we asked a waiter, who very bluntly told us “we are packed out and not serving indoors” and walked off. This felt rude and dismissive. We spoke to the hotel reception, who were lovely and apologetic, and said they would speak to the restaurant for us. While we waited to hear back, another waiter came past, served the indoor table we’d first seen with drinks, and told us “it’s busy, I’ll be back in 5 minutes” which completely contradicted what we’d just been told??

In the end, we weren’t served at all, even though tables were still available and open for walk-ins. It felt inconsistent, confusing, and unwelcoming, which sadly has put us off returning. We don't want to spend somewhere where we are made to feel unwelcome.

We’re still enjoying our hotel stay, but we won’t be...

I was nicely surprised by this place. It is calm inside, with nice outside space where kids can enjoy entertainment as well as adults can spend decent time on sun. Service was great, like in hotel. Even if I do not like most of hotels restaurants, this is different. You can expect decent value for your money with respect to the food you can get here. We were enjoying not only weekend menu, but I have to say that lunch menu and prices were more than decent. For sure if you have it not far from you, you should give it a try. Edit: Today 9th August 2025 - steak was too well, but I will get next one for free ;-) Thanks for understanding! We will come back soon, no worries :-)

Staying at hotel schweiger we thought this place had great reviews so must be good. I mean this with the up most of respect but the food was extremely bland. We paid 1200 all in for 1 starter 2 mains and 3 drinks, this was with a 10 percent discount for staying at the hotel. We had beef cheek , steak tartar and some lemonades with gin in. Given that we have eaten elsewhere in Prague for a LOT cheaper for it to be a LOT tastier! Really wanted it to be nice and feel harsh for the bad review but I must be honest. I'd have happily paid 2-3000 for an excellent meal but feel it's all relative.
