Burger Garage Vesterbro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

My wife and I were in Copenhagen for one night and so hadn't booked anywhere for dinner. After finding a pile of booked restaurants we came across the burger garage and decided to eat there as it was open. What a result that we did! The staff were brilliant, pleasant, attentive and very accommodating. They came to help with the Danish menu, catered to my wife's dietary needs and provided us quickly with incredibly tasty food and lovely drinks. The bar was pleasantly relaxed despite being fairly busy, the atmosphere was lovely and we had a brilliant nigh for a very reasonable price. Really pleased we found this place and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good burger in Copenhagen. Also one of the few places we saw began options...

"Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant left much to be desired. Despite its high ratings on Google, the burgers failed to impress, I've had better elsewhere.

Additionally, our interaction with the waitress was disappointing. When we requested water, she promptly brought a bottle and four glasses. However, my glass was tainted with lipstick stains. After pointing this out, she seemingly overlooked the issue and returned the glass to the clean set without offering a replacement. 😬😬😬It was rather amusing that she assumed I no longer required water or a clean glass. 😂😂😂" I used my kid glass and I didn't comment.😂😂😂 P. I was greeted with a smile the moment I walked in, and the service stayed warm and effortless throughout. There’s something refreshing about staff who don’t try too hard — just genuinely good people who care about what they do.

I had the spicy burger, and it blew me away. Properly handcrafted meat, juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. You can taste the difference.

Inside, the vibe is retro and nostalgic in the best way — like a laid-back diner where time slows down a bit.
