I'd rather give this place no stars, but considering that's not even possible, it should've been shut down a long time ago. We ordered mince burger with gravy, a green salad and fries. The fries were okay and the food as a whole was realy cheap, but so was the view and the quality. The meat tasted like nothing ánd it was burnt really hard. There was no gravy whatsoever, but there was cocktail sauce on my green salad. At least the vegetables were fresh so there was some taste to the meal. Once i was finishing the fries, I noticed that there was a fatty yellow substance below them. It's not worth calling it mayonaise because it looked more like molten grease and it too tasted like nothing. This place overall doesn't deserve the name restaurant as for this price, i could make much better food. I beg everyone who is reading this not to go here. I do however recommend Warpigs, which is close to this. Warpigs has a really trendy vibe and the price/quality ratio is very good. The meat served here is delicious and there's a lot of different people coming here. All ages, nationalities, cultures... gather here for...
Read moreAn old school local dining experience in a hip dining area. Several options within walking distance but was very glad to have dined here. It can get busy with what I perceive as locals about 6:30. One orders at the counter (request a menu in English). There is a daily special and it is likely to be one of their regular meals! Snag a table immediately; divide and conquer if dining with friends. Limited outdoor seating. Beer and wine available.
I had the fish and quite honestly I thought I could really regret this but it was fantastic! The lightly fried fish is plated up over a slice of bread which has a heavy dose of mayo smeared on top along with some roe, small shrimp and white celery. Perfect for a light meal. My male companion opted for the pork dinner with an accompanying piece of fried pork rind albeit tasty one could crack a crown right off one’s teeth! Served with warm grated beets and boiled potatoes and gravy he was satisfied! The gal at the counter speaks vey good English and has a good sense of humor! It’s definitely...
Read moreThis restaurant was very crowdy and I did not find any table by which I could sit on a chair. I took a bottled beer and waited for my ordered minced meat with handmade sauce and fried potatoes. The staff told me when I ordered that she did not tell when one of the tables became empty, and I answered that it was all right, I would wait for it. I waited for the food and the table, and in several minutes before the food made, the staff kept an unoccupied seat and let me sit that. I enjoyed the food very much and I wonder whether I ordered one tap beer, but I decided to concentrate my pleasant on the food. I ordered two slices of bread to completely had the remaining sauce after the meat and potatoes moved into my stomach. I want to revisit this restaurant and enjoy some of the great...
