Jensens Bøfhus — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Must say.. simply a great steak.. and yes with the correct smell and nice tast to it. I had a little bad luck, a little to much tendons, which probably could be noticed by the chef, but it does not take away, a serious nice steak. For, being in the North of Europe.. a very reasonable price.. 36 euro.. the wine nice priced as well, and a very nice Valpolicella.. even a sort of busy, a very relaxing restaurant, nice old days music.. people go crazy for the salad bar. This is unclear to me.. not that they go , which is not on my menu? 🤣. But more the logic. It looks.. that with some more " expensive " steaks... this salad bar is not included??? I simply ask you. What is the real cost of a salad bar?? Can this simply not just be free anyway ?? Paying 36 euro for a steak.. add in another 39 euro for the bottle of wine. I could not take some salad ??? Ps a small note. Every steakhouse knows .. if you knife is not sharp... your meat will not be tender. I could use a use a shaper knife when I was in 😉 Ps2 just the best cheese cake , very nice touch to it, I eat for a long time . ...

I had the lunch steak, chocolate cake, and a beer. The food and drink was actually quite delicious. However, the waitress that served us was probably the rudest I've ever had. At first she was just cold and sullen but I can deal with that. However, since I was sitting outside, a bee flew right into my beer. I asked her if I could get another one but she verbatim responded with "I dont control the bees, you have to buy another one." I was honestly shocked and taken aback. It's fine if the restaurant doesn't replace drinks, but she said it in such a condescending, rude, and hostile tone that it instantly ruined my mood. It's as if I planted the bee or something. The drink was nearly full anyway so it's not like I was trying to drink another for free. I mean, this is a 100 krone beer. Its actually more expensive than the steak. What if I had a bee allergy, was I supposed to just waste it or spend another 100 krone? It's ridiculous. This experience totally ruined my day and completely soured...

Honestly, if Sofie wasn’t so nice I would’ve given this restaurant one star. She is a 5 star team member. Our actual waitress was horrible and racist, had a very bad attitude from the moment we walked in, didn’t welcome us or say hi, or ask us if we wanted a table, didn’t even give us a menu, didn’t even let us pay like all the other customers after our meal - just said pay on the app and walked off whilst we watched all the other customers get the nicest service, welcome etc.

If I hadn’t paid for my meal in the beginning (again unlike literally everyone else in the restaurant), I would’ve walked out and spent my money elsewhere. The food wasn’t worth it.
