Not sure where to start but I definitely feel ripped off. My girlfriend and I ordered two meat dishes, rib eye for me, sirloin for her, and we were both stunned at the low quality considering the prices. Mine was supposed to be medium but was medium well. Hers would be well done and was medium. Meat was dry and lifeless which tells either bad quality meat or not as fresh. The fries: unnecessarily salty but still not as salty as the pepper sauce which together with the fries felt like you swallowed the sea. My bearniase tasted more like old remoulade than a traditionally bearnaise. Both dishes also came with lukewarm vegetables that were raw inside, especially the mushrooms. Looked they been cooked for only 15 seconds. Some pictures here show longer and better sautéd vegetables but the was not the case for us. I'm really shocked of the lack of care of quality here. Don't need to be at a Michelin star level but this is would feel like a robbery even if I payed half the price. I would say do better, learn to balance the components of a dish, and don't only think of profits, but I don't anyone there would care. It's not that difficult with the kind of menu you offer.
I'm not out for hurting peoples business, in fact this is the first time a felt the need of writing a review to save future guests. If you are looking for a quality meal then find another place nearby that is more expensive. This place will only disappoint you. But if you are someone that doesn't have resonable standards when dining out, and just want to whatever, then by all means this is the place for you.

Read moreWe ended up here after the restaurant we originally wanted was fully booked, so we wandered in from the main street and had a look at the menu. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and they gave us a great table—cozy with a candle, which was a nice touch. The menu had a good variety, and it seemed like most people were ordering the steak or going for the two or three-course set menu.
My friend ordered the chicken and mushroom pasta, and I went for the ribs with a jacket potato—though they’d sold out of jacket potatoes, which was odd considering they only offer fries or jackets as sides. The ribs came with chips instead, but they were incredibly salty, soft, and greasy—I couldn’t eat them. I honestly think I could do a better job at home getting the ribs crispy and tender. When I asked about the ribs before ordering, the server said they were barbecue-style, which sounded promising, but the flavour just didn’t match up.
The server was kind and offered to take the dish away when he saw I wasn’t enjoying it. I then ordered the leek and potato soup, but sadly that wasn’t good either. My friend’s pasta tasted really nice, but the chicken in it looked unappetising and she didn’t enjoy it overall.
Unless the steaks are genuinely amazing, I wouldn’t recommend this place for anything else. Service was a solid 10/10—but the food? Can only give a...
Read moreThis was a short walk from the hotel and some meat sounded good. Floras had a happy look so we stopped in. I have worked in Argentina and have a pretty good idea about their steakhouses. Floras impressed me.
The first bright spot was our server Camilla. She immediately made us feel at ease with our English and walked us through the menu. She suggested some wines that would compliment the steaks and discussed how to pick the meat temperature based on our desired doneness.
The second bright spot was the delivery. The meat was cooked exactly as I had requested. In Argentina they call it Juegoso and that is what I received. You can order different sauces to come with the meat, bernaise, pepper sauce, and something else. The meat really require a sauce but the bernaise went great with my papas frites. The French fries came out piping hot.
We had a great time sitting out and watching the people, enjoying a nice steak, and enjoying the service. One might ask why anyone would order a steak in Copenhagen and I don't disagree. There was just something about having just arrived and wanting something familiar and a smiling face to help you through it.
I highly recommend Floras, and I will certainly return when and if I get back to Copenhagen. Thank...
