Restaurant Tango & Vinos — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We decided to go here for our NYE dinner. It wasn’t terribly crowded which was nice. There was a set NYE dinner which was quite expensive. And it was not disclosed to us that we could opt not to have the wine pairings with the meal. Thankfully, it was taken off for mine because I couldn’t drink.

The meal started off very nicely. The food was absolutely amazing. I have to give them props for that. It was a really solid menu. But then part way through, we were told they would be putting more time between the food items. Again, something we weren’t told ahead of time which would be good to know as most restaurants do try to move things out in a timely manner - and especially on a night when people are planning to be out and about.

And then before we finished the dinner, they had a DJ turn the lights down so low that it wasn’t easy to see and blast loud music. It was so jarring that I felt a panic attack coming on. We asked to pay so we could leave ASAP. We hardly had the dessert. I cannot stress enough to management to not have a DJ for the dinner time. The music before was perfectly appropriate for the dinner.

Big shout out to the young brunette waitress who saw me in distress and even offered to step outside with me. She was the rock star of the night which is why I give it a solid 3 stars because the food was good, the atmosphere was good up until the DJ and the one wait staff...

We came to Tango y Vinos for a concert and dinner during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, having a Valentines vacation.

As I am a World traveler, I have been all around the World in famous and not that famous places, and Tango has a charm of his own. A great atmosphere . Fantastic concerts for a small entry of 100 kronas.

I ordered the menu-mushroom soup, the steak of the day and then the apple pie. All of the dishes looked amazing and tasted even better! The steak comes with fries and a sauce and it’s beyond delicious. My friend had the same and we have shared a cheese and charcuterie board, paired with fantastic Malbec, suggested by the waitress

I was especially happy that they offer mushroom soup , and I promise you , it’s outstanding! The staff was extremely sweet and friendly, very helpful with recommendations for the wines, as they have a huge selection to choose from.

The concert was also great and the whole atmosphere was really cozy and pleasant, and apparently they have concerts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the whole year. I...

Let me say that the food we had was delicious but it came to the table 1h15 minutes after we ordered . The waiter informed us after 30 minutes that there was a problem and our food was a bit delayed and suggested us to have some bread and butter .We kindly denied and continued enjoying the wine and beers . 30 minutes after I had to ask satisfactions about the delayed and yet I had to wait more 15 minutes . The food came , delicious, but unfortunately our mood was affected by the terribleDanish service to enjoy properly the meal . Then thll came , the words “ we are sorry for what happened “ were never said by the staff And we were charged us for Refiled bottles of tap water ? The manager was at the restaurant at the end and when I said what had happened he said that sometimes people wait even more to be served ! I think he considered that he made us a favor ? 3000 DK bill and is a favor ? Rating cannot...
