Food was fine and atmosphere and decoration as well.
When it comes to staff I have to say that was a disappointment.
Very poor and bad training staff. Restaurant was empty, we finished our main course and no one asked us about deserts or something else, they don’t even came to our table to take out the dishes properly.
While we were waiting (once again the restaurante was empty), the staff were playing and singing with each other (don’t take me wrong it’s perfectly fine to be happy while working) but you cannot forget you are on duty and clients are feeling the atmosphere.
In fact, we noticed that they were playing with ice cubes. One waiter (Vincent I think, a waiter with moustache) tried to put ice on her colleague’s shirt and she didn’t seem to like it.
After seeing all of this, and despite we already raised our hands twice and no one came, we asked him for desserts and he replied that the kitchen was already closed.
We approached him in a pleasant way saying that we though once they were playing it meant that we shouldn’t be worried. But in fact while they were playing no one told us the kitchen was about to closed, no one took our plates and no one answered our raising hands.
The waiter replied in a very aggressive way saying that “it’s a waste of time I won’t see you again” and it was inappropriate to say that they were kind of flirting.
He cannot assume that everyone that speaks English are tourist. And even if I am a tourist…is this a normal answer? Is this what a tourist should é pet in Copenhagen restaurants?
Honestly, I don’t think it is normal in restaurants in any place of the world to play in that way with your colleagues in front of the clients, specially if they are on duty. Is it normal in Copenhagen to put ice on your work colleagues tshirt in front of clients while on duty?
I don’t think it is a good flag for Copenhagen or Denmark.
Overall, the waiter should be humble enough to recognised the poor service and apologize for the mistake.
Mistakes happens, it’s just a matter of attitude and maturity and in this case there were a...
Read moreFood was okay, my partner got the fish and chips which looked nice. I got the “Caesar” salad which wasn’t much of a Caesar salad at all, with sun-dried tomatoes and olives and cuts of chicken which looked like they came out of the sandwich filling section from Asda, I was rather disappointed but I wouldn’t have minded had the service have been good. View was lovely in a really nice and sought after part of Copenhagen, made for some lovely photos. Now… onto the main downside… the service. Absolutely dreadful. Lazy and neglectful. We waited at least 10 minutes to even be acknowledged whilst the big table behind us which came in just after us got their drinks served and their food order taken before they even came to us. It was at least 25 minutes until we even got our drinks. We were very close to walking out before we were served and the waiters didn’t even apologise for the wait. We got our (below average) food around 10 minutes later without any cutlery. My partner got up to try get the attention of the workers which took a song and a dance to receive. We waited and waited, by which point our food had been sat for 5 minutes after being served, for our cutlery. No apologies given. Waiter had quite a rude attitude upon us leaving, we heard them saying to another table that they were really busy as they “had 14 tables”, looking around at every other restaurant surrounding this one, they all had far more tables which they were handling just fine and their food looked a lot nice with a better atmosphere. I used to work in a restaurant myself and never once struggled with just 14 tables… but who am I to judge? Don’t waste your time here, there are so many nicer restaurants around. (Also, imagine our surprise when the total was over £60 for food I couldn’t even finish and could have made far better at...

Service this morning was appalling. 2 breakfast plates ordered which included fresh fruit & yoghurt. After 40 mins we had to ask if these were almost ready. The fruit & yoghurtdid not arrive with the cooked part of breakfast, so after waiting a few mins as the place was busy, we enquired if these were coming. We were told there was no fruit and yoghurt. Asking why we were not told this at the time of ordering the servers response was “well you have started eating your breakfast now”
As someone who does not eat cooked breakfast, we had ordered 2 of these breakfast plates so I could have my wife’s fruit and yoghurt while she has my sausages & ham. This left me with just 1.5 slices of toast to have for breakfast. Rather disappointing. The server was rude, but told us were we rude because we felt that we should have been advised of this whilst ordering - we would have left and went elsewhere. When we enquired to a partial refund my wife was again told she was rude. I’m not sure if the done thing in copenhagan is just to take what you get and no ask questions. I’m the end my wife asked to speak with a manager, who had to be phoned told we could have coffee, Billy this time we were ready to leave and given the rudeness we had experienced, we certainly didn’t want to stay for more coffee!! we were eventually offered a 40kr refund from 170kr for our breakfasts. Again, rather disappointing. We o have the server standing shouting “it’s only a yoghurt honey” I have never experienced customer service like this anywhere.
The food was only warm and average and even without the issues above, I wouldn’t reccomend, however with that I Absolutely would not reccomend. Keep walking, there are many nicer placers...
