An extremely positive surprise. The food was delicious, balanced in taste, harmonized and the portions just enough. We had 3 course menu. We ordered Caprese and Carpaccio. Both full of taste though caprese probably the weakest of all dishes we had. I would add more basil and less balsamico. Then Sunny Parma, white pizza with very crispy and thin crust. Marvelous. We had also veal with roasted otatoes and the crust and meat were otstanding. To our surprise Tiramisu was probably the best in Copenhagen not to mention Creme Brulee. Perffectly balance and not overburnt. Crispy caramel. I would like to see more vines on the menu but beers must be tasted. They are really good but still not my fairytale with Italian Dishes. Service was good but not very engaged. Sometimes they are too much. Here they were too little. A bit longer breaks between meals and more enthusiasm. The restaurant was half full so there was time. We can come back but certainly recommend our friends and will take friends visiting Copenhagen as the prices are affordable. After the meal you can take a stroll along Nyhavn or ebevn walk to Christianshavn along the Coeopenhagen's channels. If the weather permits and even if it is raining. Apologies for poor pictures but theya re plentyfull on the Internet. In summary 4 stars but fod is...

If you're visiting Copenhagen and are looking for an authentic Italian pizza, then you are better off going somewhere else. Danes have different tastes and that shows, even when it comes to pizza.
So, if you like to experiment and are in the mood for a Nordic style pizza, this is the place. Literally in the most popular area of the city, Nyhavn, it offers nice pizza variations.
You'll find pizza with an egg on top, created by a Japanese chef, pizza with smoked beef and sausages, veggie pizza with Nordic ingredients etc.
To accompany it, you can get beer and wine. They even have house beer.
Pizza isn't your thing... Then maybe Nordic style pasta. Also, they have many appetizers of Italian origin with a Danish twist (such as potatoes in dishes in which an Italian chef would never add).
The prices aren't cheap (if you're a tourist). But for Copenhagen standards, given the location, they're ok (140 dkk a pizza).
So, if you want to see Nordic interpretations of Italian...
Read moreOnly disappointing dining experience that we had during our time in Copenhagen. Cocky young waiter took our order without taking any notes. We asked if he would remember it all…. He said he never forgot anything. Food arrived twenty minutes later but still no drinks. When we asked he told us that he hadn’t forgotten them but thought we wanted them later. Yes it was kind of funny but also, really not. For dessert I ordered some ice cream but was told the kitchen was closed. This was an hour after we arrived for our booking. They wanted to close because it was a quiet night but in the food business you have to think these through. Not good...
