I am writing this review while feeling nauseous about the quality of the food. The restaurant displays numerous awards on the walls, such as the recognition as the 70th best pizza in the world for 2018. It might be fitting to consider adding an award for the worst pasta restaurant for 2024. I ordered tagliatelle al tartufo, which was perilously close to being dissolved, resulting in a mushy pasta – completely overcooked! I left my plate on the table, and the staff seemed indifferent to the fact that it remained full. Additionally, my partner ordered spaghetti carbonara, which arrived raw and far from al dente. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, the waiter took the plate away and surprisingly included it on the bill. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation, there was a complete lack of interest on their part. Feeling nauseous, I left without consuming any food, and my partner refrained from eating as well. The only redeeming aspect was a good pizza we had as a starter. However, it's disheartening to note that even the restroom facilities fell short, with only one toilet for both men and women, and the lone cubicle was unacceptably unclean. This experience has left me genuinely angry. As someone who typically leaves positive reviews, the level of disappointment this time is truly unprecedented. Sincerely,
C. A.C. A.
The atmosphere is a normal Italian restaurant, which is the only good thing that can be pointed out, poor service and worse food. I ordered a seafood spaghetti. It was looking good, yet I could taste the nature of the ocean. Sand from the clams cartilage from the squads and the most extraordinary is the lanquostine. The shell was broken and turned black, and it smelled like rot for a long time. I made a complaint to the waiter and requested he to smell this sticking lanquostine. He refused to do so and insisted that sticking smell is the original taste of lanquostine. Then he spoke in his language and laughed with the waitress. To be honest, this is the first time I know Italian love eating rotting seafood. At last, he took the lanquostine and promised the chef was going to cook another one in 2 mins. 10 minutes passed, and I am still waiting now.

We called and were able to make a reservation for dinner on the same day. Reservation highly recommended but they also offer takeouts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ pizza - the crust is thin and crispy, the right amount of cheese and sauce. Generous amount of toppings and priced fairly. 🚫 Bolognese pasta: could use more tomato sauce. ⭐⭐Squid and calamari salad: generous amount of seafood but not too many vegetables ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Veal kidney: the gravy takes away the special tame of the kidney. Loved the side dish (veggies) of the day. Recommend for adventurous foodies! ⭐⭐⭐ Tiramisu: nothing to complain! Service is lovely. They're busy but our server checks in on us frequently. If you're in the mood for pizza, come to this place!

I have been left genuinely shocked by the attitude of what seemed to be the owner and one or two of the front of house this evening.

Our small group had good starters but the mains of pasta were abysmally bad. Gnocchi that was barely cooked and cold.

On being asked if we enjoyed our meal (when we clearly hadn’t) they proceeded to lecture us on how as it’s ‘fresh pasta’ that’s how it supposed to be. As if I have never eaten fresh gnocchi before. I have made it several times myself and it is not supposed to be disintegrating.

My friend had lukewarm lasagne and the main of Vongole must be avoided at all costs.

They did not take the time to check the gnocchi but just went on the offensive saying we were wrong. One of our group is a Michelin star chef who told them clearly ‘fresh’ gnocchi is not supposed to be cooked or served like that.

We had two front of house come and say ‘it’s supposed to be like that, the chef makes it fresh’…..

They didn’t listen, no remorse, no sorry, no offer to remove the item fr the bill, just passive aggressive looks and then denying speaking English when earlier one of the spoke great English.

When a customer says they don’t like the food upon being asked. As front of house the simplest thing is to diffuse, agree and leave the customer feeling good. So easy.

I think this maybe the first review I’ve left in 25+ years of eating in multiple very highly rated restaurants across the world. So if you’re reading this believe me you’re best off avoiding this place.

Seems they may do...
