Terrible customer service overall, beautiful beach and decor. Firstly, the beach is beautiful, the parasols and decor are beautiful, and the sunbeds are comfortable. Obviously, it's a very popular place and they know it, so they act like they're all that. The attitude of the staff is absolutely disgusting. The food and drinks are mediocre.
Lined up at 10:30 am to find a bed, there was a long line already. As a solo visitor, I was treated like a second class citizen. They said they normally do not even give beds to solo visitors. I was placed in the LAST row. Imagine paying 75 euros for a sun bed, to be able to swim at the beach, and being put 20 rows behind the beach. Despite there being many empty beds, I had to wait till 3 pm to get moved up to a decent row. I asked the girl many times why others had been put ahead she said they had reservations- a blatant lie. I had been talking to people standing behind me in line while waiting, they had just landed a few hours ago. The difference was they were in groups of 2 or more. Solo visitors, this place will not welcome you, take your business elsewhere.
They put me in the 3rd row at 3 pm, and only after asking maybe 10 times throughout the day and causing a fuss. Otherwise, they were in no rush to provide any decent customer service. I also had to pay 85 euros, despite not having moved to the 3rd row till 3 pm. The servers were poorly trained, they were not professional. I've been to many other beach clubs, and this one had the worst service. Had to hail multiple times to get any kind of service. Be demanding to get any kind of service here. Or just find another beach club. Spent 150 euros for sun bed + 3 non alcoholic drinks + a small side. Read more@elenipapaspyrou: We took 5 subnets, had lunch there and drinks and paid 680 in total. We paid €70 per subnet only, that amount of money was supposed to be only for the service and the bed. So when the manager (I suppose ) came to pay by card and asked for minimum 10% tips we asked him if we could do less than 10%, which was 70€ extra. He got really mad and refused receiving tips that were going to be less than 70€ at least and left in a rush and unprofessionally. Then after 10 minutes he came back to close our umbrellas while we were preparing to leave, I was standing under the umbrella and asked him to wait just a se, he completely ignored me and closed the umbrella while I was still standing there. He hit my head with it and when my friend called him out saying that he was rude, and asked what was that he just left saying “ Okay bye now”. Okay bye now ? I really don’t know from were to begin. From the fact that he was probably the manager or in charge? From the fact that he hit me on purpose? From the fact that he got mad cause we wanted to give him €50 instead of 70€ since everyone has a budget we just simply didn’t had enough money at this point. We were at the beach and already paid almost 700. And that’s totally normal and okay tipping is not even mandatory in Europe but we still tip every time. A staff member, a brown lady with short curly hair, made me have THE WORST EXPERIENCE. She claimed to be the manager of the beach I waited for two hours for a beach bed. She forced me to order from the bar while waiting, and then told me that Im wasting my time. She was saying that with the worst attitude ever. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. when I was finally about to pay for the bed, this staff member came running and shouted at the girl responsible for the beds, insisting that she did not want to give me a beach bed and that it is fully booked although it was very empty. She took the payment machine and turned it off so i don’t pay and threw it inside the table very rudely. and told me SHE WAS THE BEACH MANAGER and she can do what ever she wants. She lied about the availability and rudely tried to kick me out, despite the beach bed girl confirming there was availability. The experience was so distressing that I even cried. I am shocked as to how someone with such a poor actions was hired to work here. A person with such a personality should not be in a customer-facing role. I have traveled all around the world and come to Cannes every summer, and never have I been treated the way she treated me. This experience was extremely disappointing and has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope the management addresses this issue to prevent future guests from having a similar experience.
