A Perfect Celebration Spot in Paris
We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our sonâs christening at a wonderful restaurant in Paris, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless.
The staff were absolutely fantasticâwarm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our special day perfect. They accommodated every request with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure that we and our guests felt welcomed and cared for.
As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with care and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and truly Parisian in its essence. It was clear that the kitchen team takes immense pride in their craft.
The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant yet inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Whether youâre looking for a place for a special event or simply an extraordinary meal, this restaurant delivers on every front.
Weâll forever cherish the memories of this day, thanks in large part to this incredible establishment. Highly, highly...
Read moreThis was our third visit to Comme Chai Toi. It's a charming rock and roll themed bistro right on the river. We started off with drinks and an appetizer. My partner chose a negroni and I went with an Aperol spritz, both were excellent. We picked the Foie gras de canard poĂȘlĂ© au pain perdu for our appetizer which is pan-seared foie gras on a slice of baguette served with greens and a poached pear. It was very, very good. For mains, I went with the Magret de canard et purĂ©e de patates douces, aka duck breast with sweet potatoes and my partner chose the EntrecĂŽte de bĆuf black Angus pommes grenailles, aka steak with baby potatoes. Once again, they were both delicious. Lastly, for dessert, we picked the Mi-cuit au chocolat, caramel beurre salĂ© et glace vanille. Not sure how to describe it, it was kind of a warm chocolate mousse but richer with a small ramekin of caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It too was a quite tasty choice. The waitstaff were exceptionally friendly and patient with our questions. They took the time to explain the different menu options. Overall, a very pleasurable...
Read moreI went with my parents on a reservation. Our table had a good view of the Notre Dame which added that little bit of aesthetics to our dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Service was quick and efficient. The food came at a reasonable time and was amazing. We had a filet of duck or Magret de Canard as it's called in French and a seabream with seasonal vegetables aka Filet de Daurade à la plancha et lÚgumes de saison. The duck cooked medium tate was juicy and the pear that came with it was sweet and tangy. The fish was cooked "à la planche" basically meaning grilled and was cooked to perfection. Our dessert was amazing and put the biggest smile on my dad's face. We had the french toast (pain perdu) and cheesecake (cheesecake au chocolat blanc). Both were amaxing as the toast was warm and gooey (in a good way) topped with a scoop of ice cream and the cheesecake had a very distinct taste with a good balance between the cheese and vanilla. The experience was overall great and was definitely a good way of ending our final night in Paris. Definitely coming back and I strongly...
