Iki ramen — Restaurant in Paris

One of the best ramen restaurants I’ve eaten at, and I’ve had it in New York, Montreal, and Toronto. We order the Tonkotsu Special. The broth was incredibly tasty, the pork was tender and delicious, and the eggs were perfectly marinated and cooked. The gyoza and green tea mochi were perfect, too. Sadly, my first choice dessert- the black sesame item- wasn’t available, but one can really not go wrong with mochis. Loved the cozy atmosphere and decor. My dorky bf loved the anime statue at the entrance. I am the Asian girlfriend mentioned in the previous review. As he didn’t mention the gyoza and mochi, I felt this review was needed. I ate here twice, one time with Miso Ramen special and another time with Tonkotsu Ramen special. Miso ramen was kinda disappointing. The soup was salty yet no flavor of "miso". Then what is the point of naming it "miso"? I know the 'miso' was not mentioned in the description of the dish but I am still confused. The bean sprout seemed to be canned?!? and did not contribute much to the overall flavor. The pork chashu and chicken chasu were underseasoned. (2/5) Tonkotsu soup was better, but I think it still needs more seasoning. Perhaps I am someone who enjoys rich flavor. I found this restaurant on Google Maps which was near the hotel I was staying. I ordered their tonkotsu which is a pork bone based thick broth. I was expecting average ramen till I took my first bite. The noodles were timed, the broth had the right viscosity, the toppings were good! Wasn't overly salty which works for me. Prices were quite reasonable considering it's Paris. I've eaten ramen at a lot of independent shops in London but this one is on another level considering the proprietor isn't Japanese.
