This was by far the most disappointing Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Paris. We were drawn in by the 4.7 rating, but sadly, the entire experience—from the food to the service—was extremely underwhelming.

We ordered a Margherita pizza and pesto pasta. The pizza was a huge letdown: the crust was burnt and black on the bottom, dry, and lacked any depth of flavor. All I could taste was an overly sour, low-quality tomato paste. It was nothing like the pizza I’ve known and loved. The pesto pasta was bland and greasy, with almost no salt—after just a few bites, it became too heavy to enjoy.

While the prices weren’t high, that’s not an excuse for such a careless approach to food. What I felt was a lack of respect for Italian cuisine, and even more so, for the customers. I went there at 9 PM expecting a pleasant dinner, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience.

As for the service—while I understand that the staff might be overwhelmed during busy hours, the wait was far too long. Even though we had already chosen our dishes based on the online menu, the waiter handed us the menu and walked away, and we waited again for quite a while before we could actually place our order. We asked for free tap water, but it didn’t arrive until we had nearly finished eating.

Dining so late and being that hungry, only to be met with such poor food and service, was incredibly frustrating. I will not be returning to...

The service here is TERRIBLE.

I don’t often leave reviews but I feel compelled to write one for this restaurant. Other reviewers of similar ethnicity (Asian) have also had the same experience.

My partner and I arrived first before a group of people lined up behind us. The waiter had served the group behind us first without acknowledging us. He then gave us no option but to sit us next to the toilet even though there were plenty of other seats within the restaurant (inside and outside). Customers of similar ethnicity to me were also clustered around the same area..

We sat around for 20 minutes to get their attention so we could look at the menu, but when we did, they slammed the menu on our table and walked away without acknowledging us. In the meantime, they were serving other customers who had arrived after us with drinks.

I’m sure the food is great here, however we left the restaurant as soon as they handed us the menu out of frustration of how bad the service is.

We had dinner there last Sunday night and it was not a good dining experience. After we ordered our dinner and a bottle of wine, the waiters were on the side of the restaurant outside kicking a soccer ball around for about 10-15 minutes. I needed assistance to use the restroom and all the waiters were no where to be found. I asked for a bottle of sparkling water with ice and lemon and it was never brought to our table. in addition, the waiters and cooking staff were laughing and joking in the kitchen so loud, that it was disturbing our peaceful dinner. Very unprofessional and child-like for them to be doing this when diners are in the restaurant. I asked several times for the bill and the waiter (with a beard and round glasses) was attending other diners and not bringing the bill to our table.
