Blessed with having dined at the very finest and authentic Mexican cuisine restaurants such as now shuttered Fonda del Refugio in Mexico City, Santo Coyote in Guadalajara and the best of the best changaritos in East Los Angeles, Anahuacalli in Paris achieves their lofty status.
Owned and managed by world class Executive Chef Fausto Garduro and his super friendly and highly efficient wife Laura, Anahuacalli is the REAL DEAL!
Starting with their Amuse Bouche of fresh corn tortilla chips and 2 delectable homemade salsas, their margaritas are 100% "effective" as well as refreshing.
Proudly and generously serving outstanding blue agave Jimador Tequila, their fresh guacamole is truly world's best!
Anahuacalli's chicken enchiladas covered with authentic Oaxaca melting cheese are a main dish by themselves.
Their carne asada is a tender and richly flavorable ribeye steak and can be cut with a fork.
Our Grand Finale was an outstanding Postre 3 Leches drizzled and decorated with homemade mango sauce.
Our * salute to Chef Fausto, Laura and Maria Eugenia ~ their loyal and "owner's eyes" server of 20 years.
We highly recommend Anahuacalli to the entire world of...
Read moreFirst time in paris and we wanted to try this Mexican food Because the reviews where great .. well when we arrived we sat and waited 15-20 min to get our drinks .. this older lady finally came to get out drinks ⊠with the worst attitude .. I had a few questions about the menu she rudely replied âŠâthe answer is in the menuââ .. ⊠the only reason we didnât leave itâs Bc my kids where hungry .. I ask for a kids menu she said no .. we donât have anything . She just seemed bothered by everything ⊠what a terrible way to make business đ€Šđ»ââïž surely I will never be back .. but be aware of the grumpy old lady at this place . What an unpleasant way to start our dinner experience In France . đ Oh yeah the food .. frozen margaritas didnât taste like margaritas more like juice .. guacamole had more lettuce than đ„ .. weird .. carne asada was a normal steak .. and fajitas are only beef . .. I could go on .. take your money elsewhere .. the vibe itâs rude and def not worth the squeeze...

Iâve been to Mexico many times and have carne asada there as well as at home (my wifeâs Mexican.) I know what good carne asada is and unfortunately it wasnât what I was served at this restaurant. It was a chunk of fatty beef with gristle that came extremely undercooked even though I asked for well done. So I sent it back to cook it some more. That didnât help much. It was greasy as well. I forced down about half of the meat and couldnât eat anymore. Really a bad meal and unfortunately it was the most expensive dish on the menu. This would never be served in a restaurant in Mexico. Avoid this place. Or go...
