Restaurant Ashiana Faubourg Saint-Honoré — Restaurant in Paris

We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The taste of the food was good, service was fast. The ambience is good. We were 2 adults and one child ur dinner cost us about 70€ with a coke and a bottle of water. Before the dinner they served papad, but during lunch they dont serve papad. On a friday lunch we found the restaurant full with local people and even when crowded the service was good. I must mention that the quality of ingredients they use is also very good. I would recommend this restaurant to any indian traveller who doesnt want to experiment. The only reason i wouldnt give this restaurant 5 stars is the attitude of the owners. I wouldnt say they are rude, but they are way too professional. For instance, i asked them whether i could drink the water i had in my bottle, they said no. I asked them for some onion and they said you ll have to buy a salad for 2€. I have nothing to complain about this but they lack the warmth that an indian traveller looks for when visiting an indian...

We visited as a family of 3. Very unfortunate to be leaving such a response but we’ve been touring across Europe and till date found this restaurant totally opposite to the reviews given for Indian food and really terrible in food & service. Request to all Indian hearts out there wanting to really have some good Indian food- DO NOT ever go to this place. Reasons are many and to name a few: Very arrogant attitude/ behaviour of the staff Stale food (couldn’t have a bite of biryani) it was smelling as well Parathas were very uncooked Flies in the restaurant Found HAIR in the papads Onions and lemons were charged too EXTREMELY highly priced and not at all worth it Paneer Sabzi was not at all having any taste Every item (even those untouched) were fully charged in bill

There are many other better restaurants nearby in the area and we tried a couple of them which were tasting real Indian. Good luck. ...

After a long day we ended up eating here because we were tired of having Italian/french food and we couldn't find anything else except this Indian Restaurant, and what a great 'compromise' it turned out to be. The staff were attentive and helpful, even once it got busy - which it did.
